How was Lydia's mom able to overpower a grown man?

In the flashback when that one guy was acting hysterical, she grabbed him and threw him down on the ground and held him there and killed him. Was he really not able to overpower a middle aged woman and stop her from choking him to death?

I was just about to post this topic. I almost turned off the tv I was so annoyed with that absurdity, then Daryl said the girl's story was all a lie. I thought they would fix this mistake but they didn't, it apparently did happen. Ridiculous soy based SJW writing!

True and from the looks of it, he barely put up a fight, just lay there while someone was crushing his windpipe

That 6ft, 200lb guy just let that 5ft tall fat woman kill him. It was the most preposterous thing I've seen on TWD.

I guess we're suppose to believe that she caught him off guard and he wasn't expecting Moma Mia to choke him out..
But yeah..it didn't compute too well. He just laid there and took it.
If she'd just pulled out a knife, or something like that.. it would have made a lot more sense.

Also, she choked him out in like 10 seconds. And he just sat there

Not only choked him out, you could hear bones break, she literally broke his neck by leaning on his jaw.

I guess if you don't eat much for 2 months you become fragile?? Maybe?

This show has been absurdly feminist since around season 5. Terrible. Especially so with how realistically it started.
