The men were great in this, but Winona Ryder was the stand out

Something very special about her performance here. I'm glad to see her back and it's interesting to see how she's matured as an actress. She was very convincing and perfect vulnerable as his wife. Hopefully the critics will agree and see this too. I'm rooting for her at next years big award ceremonies.

What made her a standout in your opinion? Not being a troll, I'm just asking.
She is not untalented but she had nothing to play in that movie. One scene crying is not enough to be a standout in a movie with such performances, imo.
