The men were great in this, but Winona Ryder was the stand out

Something very special about her performance here. I'm glad to see her back and it's interesting to see how she's matured as an actress. She was very convincing and perfect vulnerable as his wife. Hopefully the critics will agree and see this too. I'm rooting for her at next years big award ceremonies.

Granted, I enjoyed her performance but she didn't have that much screen time in my opinion. I never really felt a connection with her character.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and am not trying to come off as negative or anything against Winona Ryder or her character. I guess I would just expect more material from her character if I were considering an award. Then again, I'm just a viewer not a critic or what have you.

Again, great movie all around.

One of her weaker performances. The worst I can remember from her, actually.

I liked her in the beginning but then the suffering wife story descended into cliche. Will she get an award, not a hope in hell. The amount of screen time she had it was more like a supporting role.
