Did they not try on the dresses and then all get violently ill right after eating the lunch that supposedly got them all sick? Because of the nature of food poisoning, especially food poisoning which causes diarrhea (Which their illness obviously did), it usually has an onset time of over 12 hours. There just isn't enough time for the bacteria to get where it needs to go in the digestive system, and then to multiply to a point where it can have an effect on the body. They all got violently ill like an hour or two after lunch. In real life, that just doesn't happen.

It is a stupid movie with the highlight being a bunch of women *beep* and puking.
I really doubt they did any medical research on the subject.

Actually, years ago I ate a fish sandwich at MacDonalds,and got really sick about 20 minutes later-same as the girls-both ends. But never mind that, this movie was horrible. Saw about 5 minutes of it, flipped the channel and returned to it a half-hour later to see if it improved, no such luck.

Generally, food poisoning causes some combination of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea that may or may not be bloody, sometimes with other symptoms. After eating tainted food, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting, can start as early as one hour in the case of staph and as late as 10 days in the case of campylobacter.

Oh indeed it can hit in one to three hours. What's bad is getting food poisoning without knowing it, add drinks for an hour and it's easy too days of a bathroom situation and praying for death *eeekk!*

When I eat Taco Bell I get similar symptoms like in under an hour.
