Not woke
Kept hearing people on YouTube rant that this movie was woke as hell and destroyed Indy by making Helena a superior character that shows up Indy at every turn.
I didn’t see that at all.
They had their conflicts in the beginning — which is how you add drama and interest to a plot — because they had different goals, but not once did she “prove” she was better than him or demean him.
They then ended up working together by combining their abilities in the end.
It isn’t a great film, though better than Crystal Skulls, but I enjoyed it.
And it definitely isn’t woke.
