A few things that seem odd to me (spoilers)

1. On-Jo's dad So-Ju. His ability to dodge multiple bullets from multiple assault rifles while running in the open was a little too much. That could've been done better with little effort.

2. I didn't understand the decision to cut phone and internet to Hyosan. Were they thinking zombies were gonna call them up? The only thing they did was cut off anyone on the inside who was trying to call out for help.

3. How many times did these kids stand around and watch someone change into a zombie before they took action. Geez...…. They seemed more worried about who was in love with who.

4. Na-Yeaon, the girl who killed the "welfie" Gyeong-Su. She at one point was collecting food to take back to the group to make amends. But on the way, she runs into that bully Gwi-Nam and gets suddenly jacked. It would've been cool to see her make it back, give food to the group, and see if she could make amends. I think it was a missed opportunity in writing.

5. Message to Class President Nam-ra: If you see someone wiping zombie blood off a mop handle and putting the hankerchief in their pocket, don't be afraid to speak up.

6. Time was spent in multiple episodes showing So-Ju trying to make his way back to his daughter On-Jo. He makes it and suddenly dies? And dies for no reason? There was no reason to stay on the other side of the gate at the tennis court. All of his storyline seemed a waste of time.

7. The bully Gwi-nam was such a reprehensible character. I think we were robbed of seeing him get what he deserved, which was a brutal death. All we see is him being blown down a shaft with Cheong-San. But my guess is that it was a little vague on purpose. He's the type they might want to keep around in case there's a Season 2.

8. I don't understand why the Commander committed suicide. He had no choice and actually did the right thing by dropping bombs on Hyosan.

This is no "Kingdom" or "Train to Busan", but it was decent enough.

2. I didn’t understand this as well, especially since they used a cell phone and not the school line to contact the authorities or emergency response team. Unless they were able to trace the call coming from Hyosan, how would they have known to cut it off? I must have missed some information from this scene.

4. I was confused why she didn’t turn out like Gwi-nam. I thought the virus would have evolved and Gwi-nam would have been the host of that variant, so anyone he bit would have been immune as well. So only he and the other girl who was bullied were immune?

6. From what I saw he was bitten on the hand. I would assume one of the construction workers bit him when he was on his way to finding On-jo.

8. In that situation, his decision would have been the rational thing to do because it was about saving the majority, but he probably found it hard to live with that choice. He still ordered to kill the citizens, who knows how many non-infected ones were bombed?

I have a question of my own which is not really relevant to the grand picture, but was the girl who got bullied (sorry, I don’t know her name) able to delete the video from the cell phone?

Apologies, I don’t have an opinion about all of your numbered points but I totally agree with No 4. I think it was a missed opportunity too that she didn’t make it back to the others with the food. This act would have given her some sort of redemption at least. It would have been interesting to see her make it back to the group plus it would have been entertaining to see the group eat as they were all starving! I was edging her on to stuff the bag full of food and go back, pity it never happened.

The inaction and passivity is what I find infuriating in this show. I get it. Kids will sometimes stand around shocked and unsure what to do when someone is changing before their eyes or is attacked. But even the cops are like this. They see someone attacked and they just stand around watching until the victim is bitten and then, that's when they take action.

The class president saw what that girl did and permitted it to happen. Why?

The girl killed welfie simply because he is on welfare. That level of evil is only imaginable in korea or japan.

The father thought introducing a virus from a mouse was more logical than entering his kid into a self defense or martial art or boxing class.

And the girl who got naked and was video'd. If she felt that that was worse than living and was going to commit suicide, why did she do it? What could be worse than that?

Ps. Korea is known for ineptitude in emergency or disaster situations. Look up the ferry disaster, completely avoidable and yet no one did a thing. The kids had no survival instincts whatsoever and allowed themselves to drown because they were told to stay in their cabin by the captain and officers. I can't imagine that happening in other countries.

So hard to relate with these characters.

I know what you mean. The characters seemed to fail through inaction.or being reprehensible. I've been putting it down.to social norms being different in Korea. So many times no one speaks up and things get worse.

Mostly focusing on the points I disagree with:

(3) This makes more sense than people think. No-one wants to be the one to grab the body and lob them out of the room or window. If you time it wrong, and they spasm (making it hard to move them anyway) or turn then you are the first person they bite.

(6) He got bit.
