I went to this website to start this same topic. I liked him in Hidden Figures and Top Gun…but as someone else pointed out, I see him more as a supporting actor and not the main. He’s gonna need more charisma and the perfect role to win me over as a lead actor. He comes off bland, but I’ll rooting for him. I agree. I also thought when he said he’d be nearby that he’d actually be around the corner. My question is, they didn’t have Google back then, but did they not know what the talk show host looked like (if he was supposedly famous and all)? If Jack knew, shouldn’t he have at least informed Sally by showing her a photograph so that she didn’t have to meet up with the killer? But I get it, suspension of disbelief. It didn’t bother me at all. I think it was supposed to add to her character how she’s naive and easily talked into things. She got tricked by her photographer partner, and then she got led into a very secluded area by John Lithgow’s character. I also found it endearing like another poster commented and I felt it more when the tragedy occurred in the end. Definitely there’s some alien in her. Just saw Watcher. I loved it. I’m not sure if she’s going to be an A-lister either, but she’s definitely carving her own path in the horror/thriller genre. I agree, I’m confused about the movie as well. I don’t know why she was going back in time so much to when she left her daughters. In the end she seemed to have a good relationship with both of them. Was it traumatic for her? The reaction to the doll was excessive. I don’t get the nasty stares she was getting from the family. I just don’t get this movie. There must have been a deeper meaning and I totally missed it. It was engaging, but I just didn’t know where it was going. Me too. It was impossible to miss that scene-stealing performance lol 2. I didn’t understand this as well, especially since they used a cell phone and not the school line to contact the authorities or emergency response team. Unless they were able to trace the call coming from Hyosan, how would they have known to cut it off? I must have missed some information from this scene. 4. I was confused why she didn’t turn out like Gwi-nam. I thought the virus would have evolved and Gwi-nam would have been the host of that variant, so anyone he bit would have been immune as well. So only he and the other girl who was bullied were immune? 6. From what I saw he was bitten on the hand. I would assume one of the construction workers bit him when he was on his way to finding On-jo. 8. In that situation, his decision would have been the rational thing to do because it was about saving the majority, but he probably found it hard to live with that choice. He still ordered to kill the citizens, who knows how many non-infected ones were bombed? I have a question of my own which is not really relevant to the grand picture, but was the girl who got bullied (sorry, I don’t know her name) able to delete the video from the cell phone? I thought so too. I thought she’d be typecast, but she’s done a good job so far diversifying her roles. And she’s not a bad actress. Has great presence on screen. I agree. He should have at least narrowed down the choices to blonde girls...unless he was convinced that she was wearing a wig that night. And surely, he should have remembered her height after talking to her for at least 30 mins...even her voice. You can't be that blind or deaf, especially if you're attracted to someone. I would try to remember every detail about her. View all replies >
