The idea that an FBI agent works in a basement room waiting for the phone to ring is entirely preposterous. This is how an asset sends a distress call? In the internet age? To a landline phone? It starts on an absurd basis and then builds an incredibly silly story.

The casting is nutty as fuck and just screams woke quota. For once I would like to see a show have some casting that is realistic. Someone high in the White house isn't going to be a 20 something that looks like she just left the sorority. And if you have a white family don't throw in some Tongan niece because it doesn't make any fucking sense. It is pretty much every minority character in the show is miscast as if they were just forced into a role to make a quota.

Sounds like thomas998's sensitivities have been triggered. "Woke" means that you support everyone having equal rights. Minorities, women, LGBTQ+, immigrants, voters - everyone. No matter their gender, sexual orientation or race. There are no quotas. There is no agenda. Only someone who hates everyone who isn't white and straight would be too stupid to suspend their disbelief and enjoy a movie or tv show.
