Love it or Hate it

There's no in between with this one. You either love it, or hate it... I Loved it... On which side are you?

Hated the movie which made a debacle of the Broadway musical.

I loved the Broadway show. The movie was a totally different thing. How they could mess it up like they did, I've no idea.

Anyone who loves the movie will go crazy for the stage version. Especially if it's the same caliber of talent as the Broadway cast.

I'm in between. I hated most of the music when it was big, but I miss real rock.

I tell ya Slug-3, I hated the music too in it's day. But the theatrical production was so good and singing and acting also fantastic and it was non-stop laughs from start to finish.
We saw this show in NYC and were given the tickets by a friend of my sisters who at the last minute couldn't go. Having seen the film, we almost declined as we didn't like the film and wanted to pay to see another show we liked. My wife said, what can we lose if it's free, so we went and were amazingly impressed and surprised.
The whole show was incredibly interactive with the audience.
In the play, Lonnie, played by Russel Brand in the film, is the narrator and he is the star of the show, with lots of others differences. The bottom line is the show never takes itself seriously. It looks back on the time with good humor and is just hysterical. It made me a fan for sure and even some of those bubble gum songs worked just right.

Hate, hate, hate. This movie reminded me why I hate musicals...at least ones like this. Sappy story, uninteresting characters who break into stupid and unmemorable songs at the drop of a hat. The most interesting character was the monkey.

I am well aware that the movie is not well-made in a lot of respects, but I can't help but enjoy it. Tom Cruise's performance sucks me in every time.

The day Chuck Norris dies is the day the world ends.

I liked it I though I was going to be bored to death, I had a ball singing along. Tom Cruse and Alec Baldwin did great. The young actors were good to, Have a great day
