Here's a reddit page on Keanu where it talks a bit about his life and the fact that he gave millions from his salary to the special fx guys on the Matrix. Viewpoints on his acting are subjective. He appears to be a decent human being with a sad life. And he works really hard. Why not pick on some jerk who deserves it?

For myself, I've never had a problem with Keanu in any movie. He's no Gary Oldman, but neither is 99 percent of them. He was typecast because of Bill and Ted and people just can't seem to look past it. Dracula is one of my favorite movies of all time. I take my Dracula seriously, so if he had wrecked it, or been annoying, I would have been disappointed. I wasn't.

Try to understand, there is not a bad actor. Only bad director, which chose actors for his movie!

ps: I liked his acting in "Hard ball" which change my opinion about Hollywood.
He's alright in most roles. Its just hilarious when they try to get him to express emotion, like in this movie for instance when he reunited with the girl.
