Controversy about Carini in female boxing

What do you think about it?

reply

Male superiority!!

reply

I just watched her speaking in tears after taking a jab in the nose from a biological male. Angela Carini has trained all her life for this moment in time, and her Olympic dreams were stolen by someone who should not have been in that ring.

It was heartbreaking to hear her voice break as she said she was not able to honor her father who taught her to be a warrior and never give up.

J.K. Rowling wrote on X:
"A young female boxer has just had everything she’s worked and trained for snatched away because you allowed a male to get in the ring with her," Rowling wrote on X.
"#Paris2024 will be forever tarnished by this brutal injustice," she added.

reply

That person is only "trans" in the physiological sense though apparently.

Rowling may have put herself into further hot water over that one as "racism" is usually the next call for complaining about DSD athletes...

reply

That person, Imane Khelif of Algeria, tested having XY chromosomes and has been disqualified from several other events.

As for J.K. Rowling, she likely cares little about "further hot water."

reply

Well yeah, maybe. But like I said though, this usually involves racism being called, so it will be interesting to see where it goes next...

reply

I fail to see any connection to racism. I am a former female athlete and this practice of allowing biological males to beat up females is blatantly wrong.

Check out some factually accurate sites that explain the vast advantage someone has who went through puberty as a male over a XX female.

reply

Well, if you are a former female athlete, you should be well aware of the Caster Semenya case re DSD athletes and how racism was raised there.

And you've got the completely wrong end of the stick with what you seem to be saying and your attitude towards me. I don't disagree at all - I'm just pointing out the facts re how this is viewed in a different manner from trans, even although, as I said initially, physiologically it's the same benefit...

reply

I was not being argumentative or impolite to you; simply expressing my views and knowledge.

Semenya has the intersex condition 5α-reductase 2 deficiency and natural testosterone levels found in the typical male range. Male levels of testosterone provide Semenya an undeniable advantage. Semenya is XY and has testicles.

reply

Oh, for. . .

Why on earth do people go online and babble such OBVIOUS inanities? You've never been in the steam room with her, you do NOT know she "has testicles." She was born a woman, has lived all her life as a woman, and competed all her life as a woman. So, the only things we DO Know:

1) It's ridiculous for men to compete against women
2) It's equally ridiculous for trans women to compete against women
3) This particular athlete may have some congenital chromosomal/testosterone variances, but is NOT a man, never was a man, and did NOT undergo surgery/therapy to "become a woman." In short: NOT Trans.

Period.

And so it comes to pass!

Khelif raises lawsuit against Musk and JK Rowling citing racism:-

Why not? When facts don't work, fake racism usually does.

reply

"I fail to see any connection to racism."

So do I. So does everyone. Everyone knows it's not racism, but racism will likely be used by grifters and mental cases in an attempt to invalidate ANY dissenting opinions and even facts.

reply

Rowling has plenty of "fuck you" money. She can say whatever she wants. And she also happens to be right.

reply

She is a woman. NO, she hasn't been "disqualified from several other events." That is a distortion. ONE boxing commission. . .which has since been discredited. . .refused to allow her to compete, based on claimed results in their tests.

As for J.K., she DEFINITELY cares little. Why would she?

reply

HIM.

reply

Maybe Carini just wasn’t good enough. If you look at Imane’s career, she’s been beaten many times. By biological women.

At the 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships, Khelif finished 17th in the women's lightweight event after being eliminated in the first round by Karina Ibragimova.
At the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships, she finished 33rd in the women's lightweight event after being eliminated in the first round by Natalia Shadrina.
She represented Algeria in the women's lightweight event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she was defeated by Ireland's Kellie Harrington in the quarterfinals.
She was the first female boxer to represent Algeria at the Olympics. And they are proud of her.

reply

Women shouldn't even be in boxing anyway.

Boxing was always men-only for the first 100 years of it's existence. Most people wouldn't even want their male children getting into boxing, beause everyone knows youre just taking repeated blows to the head, and people get brain damage, or get concussions. That's just boxing.

It's a brutal sport. I know because I've watched tons of it, it's one of my favorite sports to watch.

But its basically sanctioned brutality.

And I'm only talking Men's boxing. I'm not even getting into the gender debate.

I'll say it again: Women shoudn't box. It's a brutal sport, it's a stupid sport (honestly). And people do get hurt very badly.
Boxers end up in comas , there have been deaths in the ring.

Boxing is basically 2 human beings inflicting the most pain and damage they can on eachother with their fists.
The whole POINT is for someone to get hurt.

My only answer to the women boxer who cried for a punch in the nose?
I don't care how hard the punch was , if you can't take a punch you have no right to be in Olympic boxing.

In Men's boxing they continue the entire 12 round right WITH a broken nose. And they don't even flinch about it. Why? Because boxing is a BRUTAL SPORT. Women's boxing is a joke. They tap eachother . They take 1 real punch and start crying. It's pathetic.

These male-to-female transition boxers should compete in the Mens discipline and theyd get KO'd immediately.

reply

Trans people should not be allowed to compete unless they are competing under their BIOLOGICAL SEX. The Olympics shouldn't be about gender, rather it should be about biological sex. This shit is ridiculous.

reply

You are entirely correct; however, many will argue with you. They are afflicted by the mind disease called "woke".

reply

I've seen the photos of his huge biceps (compared to hers) as he pulls back to punch her, and the smirk on his face afterwards as he patronizes her. This is tragic. She trained and sacrificed for years, and her Olympic dream never had a chance. And she probably had to put up with having this dude in the locker room, too. The IOC are psychopaths.

Until women athletes stand up en masse against allowing men in their sports, this bullshit is going to continue.

reply

To repeat:

Why on earth do people go online and babble such OBVIOUS inanities? She was born a woman, has lived all her life as a woman, and competed all her life as a woman. So, the only things we DO Know:
