A lesbian musical. It’s not easy being green and gay. Doesn’t even remotely resemble the original movie. The Wizard of Oz. Wicked’s sets and costume are beautiful The colors are exquisite.
But truthfully, this is a very silly movie. It’s not really for adults and at the same time, I don’t even know if it’s for kids. It might resonate with very young people who are having a tough time fitting in.
The movie is riding on hype. And, I have to say, what a con - splitting the movie into two parts.
the author of the Wicked book series said everyone in Oz (his version) is basically bi.
