All of Star Wars does not make any sense so why complain about "bad writing" of The Acolyte when Lucas himself is a bad writer?

People were upset over how much this show insulted Star Wars lore, and the fact that KK loves throwing her weight around and deciding what's "canon" and what isn't (usually HER stuff is canon, and everything else is "Legends" and "doesn't count" in Star Wars lore anymore...rotten bitch)

why complain about "bad writing" of The Acolyte when Lucas himself is a bad writer?
Lucas was a great writer and storyteller when he made the original trilogy. He excelled in creating characters and a universe for them to exist in, then directing and editing the film.
He just struggled with writing dialogue and understanding his actors (that's why Empire Strikes Back is regarded as the best since he got someone else to write the dialogue and direct the actor's performances). share
Star Wars 1977 made a lot of sense to the Academy voters who nominated it for the Best Picture Oscar category.

Yeah, the writing's bad but , er, isn't this Star Wars we're talking about. I raised that point on another thread and suddenly the triggered had reimagined Star Wars as some great bastion of American literature 😂.
And yeah, George Lucas himself couldn't even remember the storylines he'd written in previous films. So, all in all, complain about the crappy nepotism casting we saw. Complain about the cheap looking costumes. But don't complain about the writing and don't complain about non existent lesbian witches because that just makes you look like a fool...
yeah as a Star Wars fan i agree its soft sci-fi like Dune and Flash Gordon Serials which it was inspired by yeah complain Lucas a bad writer uhhhh my Guy Star Wars A New Hope is the best of OT and a Landmark Cinema film it is the greatest Sci-Fi movie of all time I agree with this statement except that Lucas is not a bad writer or director and made one of the most Influential Sci-Fi Movies of All Time.
