Everyone determined to hate it

Well , not everyone , just 'haters gonna hate'.

This is the new waterworld. Sunk by negative press and internet bitching regardless of the quality or content of the movie.

Will also be incorrectly held up as the example of why "Girl boss" action films wont work when in reality any post apocalyptic Mad Max type film is a niche audience and probably wouldnt have broken box office records anyway

I think I'll stop visiting this page and its stinking pile of hate , at least until I get round to seeing it , which will be on streaming . Even as a P.O. fan chomping at the bit to see this no doubt excellent movie I aint going to the cinema to see it , cinemas suck balls .
got a better screen at home

It is upsetting to you that the woke culture is finally collapsing on itself. Films like this that take a couple of years to make can only blame themselves for going with the political trend at the time.

Not woke, moron!

anything with tits is woke to these assholes.

Nah…I love porn.

Well, I can't speak for "everyone", but I know for a fact that *I* was determined to hate this film the moment it was announced. I am delighted to see that Faux Max is flopping. I have been vindicated now! I tried to warn 'em....

I will admit that a lot of people who hate Faux Max are Johnny-come-lately types. It's odd, most of the reasons they cite for disliking THIS movie (Chalize Theron not being asked back to return and being replaced with non-look-alike Anya Taylor Joy, who is in no way believable as the same character, and film uses the words "Mad Max" in the title for marketing purposes but is REALLY about this useless 'Furiosa' character) are EQUALLY true of the LAST movie (Mel Gibson not being asked back to return and being replaced with non-look-alike Tom Hardy, who is in no way believable as the same character, and film uses the words "Mad Max" in the title for marketing purposes but is REALLY about this useless 'Furiosa' character)

In any case, I'm glad to see them join the bandwagon, even if it took them nine years to "get it" and realize the Mad Max universe is dead. Better late than never!

You like Waterworld???

i thought postman was better

reply

yes its great.
people were told not to like it because it was overbudget . that's a plus to me

reply

Uh no, people saw that Waterworld objectively sucks on every level and therefore dislike it. You just like being a contrarian.

reply

well , our opinions differ .

My point is people and the press had made their minds up on that movie well before they'd seen it - same as this one.

Except this one is worse because of the reasons they've decided to pre-emptively hate it
actually no theyre just as dumb
WW - overbudget and late
this one : no max , and theres a woman in it

all 4 are stupid reasons.

reply

You are the dumb one. All your posts are either bashing Trump or on some woke crusade. You suck.
