I know what you mean. She looks like a little 12-year-old kid that got lost on her way to a coachella festival in Venice, California. Chances are, she has a parent or relative in the 'biz that's getting her all these roles.

Chani was supposed to be similar in age to Paul. The book described her as having elfin features, and the grace of a gazelle. The best actress to portray her so far was Sean Young.

I suspect it has a lot to do with her being a minority.

I don't think the producers were intending to cater to your sexual fantasies. Why does Chani need to be beautiful?

Modern casting for attractive female parts is clearly politically driven. It's like how there are ugly obese people on gigantic billboards advertising fitness products. It's an inversion and intentional demoralization. Weakens people so they consume more easily, and think what they're told to think.
