Marvel fans

My question to Marvel fans is:

Do you actually care to see this because you want to see an Ant-man movie, or are you hoping marvel will make another massive series?

I've seen this trailer 5 times and it looks like every other superhero movie. Is it the character, or is it the hope for a series?

I don't know that I qualify as a Marvel fan, per se, but I have been impressed by most all the films they've put out. The original Ant-Man was a fantastic movie, above and beyond the super-hero aspects. It told a compelling story, and had believable characters portrayed by great actors. It was fun, it was funny, and it had a well-rounded, scary villain. It had everything one wants from a movie, let alone a super-hero movie. The sequel didn't quite live up to the original, but it was still entertaining enough that I have high hopes that the third film will be at least as enjoyable, or better.

The added element of an over-arching story that is one of the perks of the Marvel films. No other franchise offers anything like that, and it's certainly a plus.

Marvel already has a massive series? I'm just looking forward to what seems like a fun movie.

SIMPLE ANSWER...I LOVED THE OTHER ANT-MAN FLICKS...I LOVE PAUL RUDD...I LOVE THE MCU.

The antman films are among my favorite films in the MCU.

I personally don't really care about the MCU as a whole, esp not these days.

This looks like the best MCU movie in years.

Paul Rudd is really charismatic as Ant-Man and this one sets up the next big villain so yeah I went to go and see it and I had a good time. It's weird and different to the first two and a bit tonally all over the place but it does what an MCU film should do which is to entertain and get you excited for what's to come next which I think this film certainly did and then some.

Kang in this is a great villain as well and that goes a long way for me with superhero films. A hero going up against a generic villain is just so boring to me and it's why I don't care for a lot of the DCEU films even the well-reviewed ones like Wonder Woman (holy crap did they do a shit job with Ares in that film.)
