Sandra Bullock too old for Ryan Reynolds. Who should have been Margaret?

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but, while I enjoyed this movie, I was distracted by the 12 year age difference between Margaret and Andrew. I think Sandra Bullock is too mature, now, for these types of frivolous fluff movies. I could think of a lot of younger actresses, maybe a few years older than Ryan Reynolds, who could have done as well or better playing Margaret. Emily Blunt, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Mila Kunis. Just a short list. Who do you think would have been a better fit?

Sandra was perfect. It wouldn't have been the wonderful movie it was without her. LOVE her! Love them together!

She is his BOSS. Hence, it makes sense for her to be somewhat older.

Well the basic description for the movie said " She falls for her YOUNG assistant"

Is that really to big of words for people who watch this movie????

And....I bet know one has a problem with movies where the man falls for a much younger women.

OR in real life when a MAN marries a much younger woman....like Kirk Douglas, Kelsey Grammer, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise........GET OVER IT.....Older woman love younger men.....as much as men love younger women

PLUS.....ITS A FRICKING MOVIE....if you want real life DONT WATCH MOVIES.

12 years is sooooooooooo much age difference....real funny cuz my mom had me when she was 15 and no one blinks an eye at that....that my mother is 15 years older than me BUT my hubby is 8 years older than me and OMFG what a travesty.....What a *beep* JOKE!!!!!

I didnt think about it that much. Perhaps they were aiming toward a mature demographic.

I had no idea Sandra was that much older then Ryan. Actually I didn't even pay attention to the age thing until Bettys character said " ah I guess the word girl is inappropriate". lol loved that line.

It written in the script she supposed to be older. I'm thirty six and will definitely date a younger man!

Julia Roberts turned the role down... big. mistake.
Although I'm pretty sure that she is older than Sandra Bullock...
I liked Bullock in the movie. She displays that serious yet comedic character.
She transitioned into the workaholic so easily, it was a little too natural O.o
