When IT: Chapter Two did it 3 years ago, nobody was complaining about the brutal homophobic attack within the first 10 minutes of the film, which was obviously a much BIGGER deal and there was no justice for the aftermath of the incident!

That is because the homophobic portion of the film's audience felt that gay characters in the film got what was coming to them for being gay.

But show these same people a possibly gay public display of affection and they lose their shit.

I think this film should have kept the kiss while they were scissoring. Maybe the director's cut that will come out now will return that scene to the film.
