Replacing Tim Allen, gay kissing, toxic masculinity lecture, retconning the Buzz Lightyear cartoon

I’ll pass on this one

reply

oh yeah- it's toilet fodder

reply

Same here. And I love Chris Evans. But no. Not for me.

reply

This looks like a woke millennial joke.
So cringe worthy.

reply

WOKE,MILLENNIAL,CRINGE WORTHY....CONGRATS...YOU JUST HIT THE FUCKHEAD TRIFECTA.

reply

And you would know.

reply

Mudshark

reply

BASED ON THIS POST...MOST WOMEN PASS ON YOU TOO.

reply

Women love men that are in touch with their gay side.

reply

Not surprising the film is no good. They focused too much on the woke agenda and too little on the writing.

reply

What did you expect from something with far lefty Chris Evans attached?

reply

I'm going to see it today and judge for myself.

reply

And thank you for supporting "causes" over good story writing. You are helping make the movie world a..... different place.

reply

How do you know that this film doesn't have good story writing? Have you already seen it? It is possible for a movie to have good story writing and lesbian characters. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

reply

read the TITLE on this whole post

reply

I read the title and it was stupid.

reply

God forbid you watch a movie before you judge the movie's writing lol

reply

you tell me honestly if the middle stalls out, wastes time, and gets muddy. I totally believe the review I read, as these are no longer REALLY PIXAR movies, only in namesake. All the real talent in the writing is now pushed aside for woke shit

reply

Well, what did you honestly think about the middle section of this movie?

reply

I enjoyed the entire movie and rated it 8/10.

reply

fair enough. I've read bad things about the writing. Pixar magic is gone now. But to each their own

reply

It's not replacing Tim Allen at all. It's a different character, why would Tim Allen voice him?

reply

Of course they are replacing Tom Allen? Don’t tell me you believe that BS excuse they gave? Are you telling me if they made a Woody movie they would replace Tom Hanks? Hell in the Woody’s Roundup show in the movies Woody had the same voice

reply

Yeah. It's all according to plan. Just like when they replaced him in the cartoon show 20 years ago.

reply

That’s a cartoon. This is a big budget summer tentpole. Hell they probably couldn’t afford Tim Allen or get him to commit to a whole show at the time. These days no way is Tim Allen out of their range

Again, would they have replaced Tom Hanks if they had made a Woody movie? Doubt it

reply

It's not an excuse. It's a reason.

The same company has Tim Allen coming back for a Santa Clause series on Disney+, so don't act like they didn't want to hire him.

And yes, they would. Because it would be the story of the man that Woody is based on, just like this movie. And they'd hire some current star to voice, also just like this movie.

reply

You’re very naive

A Santa Clause series is not the same as a big tentpole release

They already showed they don’t do a different voice for the original character with the Woodys Roundup sow

reply

No naivety here, just pure logic. They're not going to hire an actor pushing 70 to voice a 20 something character, ESPECIALLY when it's not the same character they already played.

"They already showed they don’t do a different voice for the original character with the Woodys Roundup sow"
That's an entirely different situation. They made a toy out of the puppet on that show, so they made the voice box in him sound like the character from the show. Come on now.

reply

You are an idiot who doesn't know what the movie is about.
