share3. got the *beep* kicked out of me the 1st 2 (was drunk the 2nd time tho) the 3rd time i beat the *beep* out of the other guy
shareLoads of rugby fights, most memorable being when the outside centre had a prop throttling him, I came in from the side grabbed the guys shirt and punched him in the temple 3 times. The centre hadn't seen me come in and was left holding the prop up on his feet before realising I'd hit him. After that I felt a bit guilty and started breaking up the other fights, though I tell my mates it was because I'd broken a finger on my 'clubbin arm'.
We always have a good laugh about that.

Pretty crazy that yanks show this kind of stuff for the 13 year olds. Those are kids and what I´ve learnd streetfighting is that you really better back down and fast hit and run if you want to live. Streetfighting is not organized fighting and UFC is pretty *beep* up if they promote this kind of movies.
shareI've literally been in hundreds of fights although I prefer to call them battles and never lost a single one. My best weapon was my faith and my magic sword the Holy Avenger +5

I love fighting. I have been in at least 100 fights, most of them when I was still in school. I am 29 now and have probably been in 20 fights in the last 10 years. I am no bully though and only fight when the other person has it coming. I am from Iowa and we probably have the biggest MMA scene in the country. We had fights at a local bar as far back as 95 when it was only legal in two states. We also have one of if not the best MMA camp Miletich fighting systems. I used to train with Des Moines MMA academy but have had some medical problems as of late keeping me from training. The combination of a leg injury and a thyroid problem have kept me out of the gym and caused me to gain alot of weight. I have never lost a one on one street fight. I know there are plenty of people out there that could whip me, but the truth of the matter is 99 percent of people can't fight. Reading peoples intentions and sizing them up is my most valuable asset in a fight. I can tell what they are thinking and react first. As for kicking in a street fight it has it's place. I have only thrown two high kicks in a fight and on both occasions that ended the fight. I only threw them because I knew the guys I was fighting could not fight and would not expect it at all with my current size 5'9" 250. I am fat right now but can still kick over 6 feet high. People don't expect that. However I concede high kicks are risky in any fight. I have started several fights with a front kick though and it is effective. My fighting style has changed as my weight went up. I have always used knees and elbows. They are deadly. Almost every fight I am in I will throw a couple punches and then get in close and throw elbows and/or knees and then wrap em up and take them down and ground and pound. The whole thing lasts 15 seconds.Once I am in that position I will ask if they are done. If they are unconscious I get off them. I hate people that beat people when the fight is clearly over. I guess my point is if you are a trained fighter kicks serve their purpose. I will almost always use a front kick on someone 4 in taller than me because reach is a bitch. The fast lengthy guys are who I have the most trouble with.
shareYeah, most people won't fight and you can figure out a lot by sizing them up (something I always did in fear when getting into any fight).
This reminds me of the Glove Slap thing in the Simpsons:

Unfortunately there's only a Spanish version.
Most people won't fight - you can challenge people all day long and they'll walk away in fear - but then eventually you're in trouble.
My brother did that all the time - then one day at the gym a big Samoan guy broke his jaw - he had to have it wired shut, eating through a straw. I always used my head a little more than my brother and didn't get into fights I couldn't likely win. :-)
What hump?
I've been in quite a nice amount of street fights. In sport fights, well, not as much, more for the purpose of experience. It's not wildly entertaining if you don't have the click for it, most of the time you concentrate on your moves and focus on his, attempt of hits, blocking and luckily a breakthrough punch/kick.
As for street fights, t'm not the type who engages, though, but reacts when feeling endangered (or driven blind-mad). Our neighborhood is not as nice as it could be, and the city, well, it gets its faces of depravity with nightfall. But seriously, a street fight is something I'd wish it doesn't exist. Unlike movies, there are no fancy moves, no sexy charismatic characters, no swashbuckling, and no parrying. It all depends on who becomes worse beast than the other one, because what is at stake is actually your life (or life of those who are with you) and you use everything you can come up with, lay hands on, or aim at, and the madder the fight, the more individuals are there, the higher are chances that even if you beat the living *beep* out of everybody all alone, you're going down. Seeing as how I'm approaching 23 years of age, I'm happy to acknowledge that my path in life moved me far away from the encounters, and hope will never face the fight again.
I have and i kept a cool head, while my opponent kept gettin mad and threatening to kill me. I made him bleed! it was tight
