she could simple got married to a rich guy. it makes no sense, there is no way a woman like that is living in poverty with a ogre friend for almost all her adult life.
ps. does anybody notice a plot hole in the porno flick? at first only the couple would do the film and sell it to their former classmates. the next day, they are in multimilionary production, casting actors, with sets and customized wardrobes.
Not always true about women. I don't find myself beautiful or pretty or anything. But a lot of friends always told me I was Cute and could get with someone "hot".
I prefer someone with good personality. Money helps but all they need is a job for me to be happy.
My fiancee is by no means "hot" or "good looking" but the way he treats me and the way he makes me feel is good enough.
I have a disability and work and am not rich and don't live in the best place but I did and didn't choose to live that way.
Perhaps miri liked living like that? Perhaps she wanted to live with her friend and no abandon him? Perhaps she couldn't figure out what she wanted to do for a job or career so she had to live like that til she figured it out?
Not everyone just lives the way they do and likes it or chooses it or is dumb for living that way or has the choice of marrying someone rich.
To contrive it for the story. Pure rubbish, no chemistry between the two. Shocked at how bad the movie is, expected avg comedy, complete wreck. Should of been thrown away with Clerks 2.
shareI like how some dudes think attractive women have it made. All life's problems can be solved if they land a rich guy! First, even if a woman is attractive she has to be able to come in contact with a rich guy. Unless a rich guy is "slumming", there's no way to establish a relationship let alone get married. That's why rich people typically marry other rich people - they're in the same social strata.
Granted, it's not impossible to marry up because it obviously happens but one of the parties has to be in the rich person's orbit. Someone who is lower middle class (like Miri and Zack) probably aren't going to be hanging out in ritzy clubs or the ballet or wherever rich people hang out.
