Am I the only person who actually liked this film??

I had multiple LOL moments, especially from Delaney and just random little bits (Justin Long!) from pretty much all of the cast members... the story was interesting, Elizabeth Banks and Seth Rogen had good chemistry, Jason Mewes looked good, etc... long story short, I would definitely watch this again (if only just to hear the "coffee, black" line again ahahaha). What's the big problem with it? I just don't... see why this was so bad? I would so watch this again than watch Juno or Superbad again.

Maybe it's because I never enjoyed the Kevin Smith brand of comedy? (Clerks, Dogma, etc)

White lying to the wife helps to keep things on an even keel...

Wife: I'm getting fat, aren't I?
Husband: No... In fact, you look better than you did when we got married!

Wife: Ugh! Look at how those sluts are dressed! It's disgusting!
Husband: Totally! I was just thinking the same thing! They just allow themselves to be objectified! Less is more, I always say!

Wife: That movie was so raunchy... It grossed me out. I just wanted it to be over.
Husband: I know, right? I was just pretending to have a good time. Such sophmoric outré!

Yes. Even though around 200 users gave this film a 9/10 or 10/10, you are the only person who favours this bleak, boring love story. Are you happy?

It's not a masterpiece, but I think it's somewhat underrated. In terms of pure laughs, it's Smith's funniest since the original Clerks. The love story doesn't really work, but they don't really try too hard with it, either.

I think the love story does work. Great film, i rarely laugh out loud on my own. Solid 8/10. Without being too disgusting, it does help if you have watched a bit of porn before.

I love this movie. OTHER than the porn, the relationship between Zack and Miri is the same *beep* me and my boyfriend went through. It's really crazy how we related to it... It's our sappy movie together now.

IMDB is nothing but criticism. Expect it.

Yes, in a world of over 7 billion people you and you alone are the only one who liked this movie. It's not that it's just not that popular as other comedies, it's universally hated by every man woman, and child who lives, has lived or ever will live. Please sit by your front door, top people from the government will be coming to take you away for study. Top people.
