Am I the only person who actually liked this film??

I had multiple LOL moments, especially from Delaney and just random little bits (Justin Long!) from pretty much all of the cast members... the story was interesting, Elizabeth Banks and Seth Rogen had good chemistry, Jason Mewes looked good, etc... long story short, I would definitely watch this again (if only just to hear the "coffee, black" line again ahahaha). What's the big problem with it? I just don't... see why this was so bad? I would so watch this again than watch Juno or Superbad again.

Maybe it's because I never enjoyed the Kevin Smith brand of comedy? (Clerks, Dogma, etc)

I really enjoyed it and later bought the DVD. I suspect the people who don't like it are mostly diehard Kevin Smith fans. ...If I had to pick one fault with the movie, it might be the ending seemed a bit rushed. But it's such a minor point, it wasn't enough to keep me from really liking the movie.

Absolutely not. I *beep* loved the movie. Kevin Smith went into a year long depression (and for the first time began to indulge in marijuana in the process) because he thought the film was a total bomb (It grossed far less than expected, in fairness) and that he'd ruined Rogen's career. Poor dude. The movie is definitely up there with all his other great comedy films, which, by last count is pretty much all of them except Mallrats which is still a totally enjoyable flick if you're a Kevin Smith fan.

Love Zack & Miri, love Kevin fckuckin Smith, man.

This is just pure laughs.. I didn't even realise it was Kevin Smith movie til afterwards, some of the dialogue is so damn funny. My favourite scene is quite subtle, but it's the drunk guy who comes in after a football game and when he says "Yeah I'll have a cold one" god that *beep* hilarious. hahahha

oh wait, or the Justin Long scene, "Shut you're mouth or I'll *beep* it" pmsl

This film is pretty great. It's funny and the actors all seem genuine. The subject matter probably makes the average American a little squeamish, but so what.

when I first watched it i was expecting a different film... obviously not a straight up porno... but a different movie nonetheless... Having watched it a few more times, well the movie has warmed up on me... and looked at it kinda like a romantic/comedy and I thought it was really well done. BTW not all ROMCOM's are bad... check out Love Actually... one of the best ROm Com's ever made.
