I agree with all your comments, the movie didn't really add up. I still really liked it. However, I've only watched it on netflix instant, I probably wouldn't have liked it that much if I'd had to pay $14 to see it in the theater.
To add to the list of absurdities:
How come the killer never has any blood on him?
In the scene where Donna goes to the bathroom at the end to take pills - in the time she was in the bathroom the killer somehow manages to kill the policeman, carry him back to his car, sneak up to Donna's bedroom, kill her boyfriend and hide in the closet. And he manages to kill the boyfriend without a struggle or sound which Donna would hear in the bathroom. And still no blood on the killer.
And how come the killer is so great at killing everyone but Donna? Granted he may be being a bit gentler with her, but come on, she seems to be the only one who can effectively kick, bite and run away from the killer.
Also, the scene where he's in her hotel room, why does he go to the right side of the two beds? If he thinks she's under one of them, wouldn't he go check from the middle? And why does he walk so slowly, you'd think he'd realize the police are coming and time is of essence. Furthermore, why didn't he grab her when she was going for her purse and he's standing behind her feeling her hair? Why does he walk away and then reenter the room from the door.
As far the construction, they are on the third floor - so we're to believe that a 5 start hotel had a floor full of construction on the second floor?
Stupid film, but good brainless fun
