condition of prostitutes

Look at the porn industry these days, everything is about shock value. The dirtier the women are, the dirtier the acts you can perform on her. I honestly believe porn is used to desensitize the population.

surely without seeming contrived it boils down to ownership, taking something that under normal circumstances could never be yours and making it yours. men with money - what is the final frontier when money is no object and neither are morals?

Well to be fair, in this particular movie and real life crisis I wouldn't agree as far as calling these young girls prostitutes or whores. One must remember that they are owned , they are slaves. They have not decided to hook one day and said cool I'm choosing this as a life style. But aside from that you are 100% accurate in questioning as you do.
I don't think these so called men are actually interested in the sex as much as they are interested in the submissiveness of the young child in front of him. I think it's a complete power trip for them. I guess in there sick minds it represents the maximum power one can have.
I tell you what though, I would love to pick up one of there daughters (keep her in a safe place and protected) but have him believe that I am doing all the same stuff that he is doing but to his daughter to see if that wakes him up a bit.
How can anybody do that to a child, dirty or not, is beyond me and nothing really pisses me off more then this. No matter how mad this all makes me I find myself asking one small question of my own. If I was in her place, (the hero of this movie ) Would I do the same thing.
I would honestly love to say 100% yes no dought about it. But I didn't live through that and until you go through something similar I really don't think one can answer honestly. Lets be frank, this is happening everyday and in just about every large city, what have we done so far.....
How many neighbors beating up there spouses did we hear through the walls last year and not report a single one. How many drink drivers did we see on the road but yet made no attempt to call the police, how many drug sales go on in the back alley during the day and again we close a blind eye. Everybody cares but nobody wants to get involed. sad, sad, sad sad ......

Honestly? That's your concern? That someone willing to enslave and rape women might not be concerned with hygeine?

Dear anne-536, what a shallow feminist woman with total lack of empathy you must be. After seeing this real story movie, your main concern is hope you would never encounter "this type" of man for the rest of your life. You are shocked how "affluent" men can do all these horrors to so "unhygienic prostitutes".

If you are not some kind of sociopath, you have better redefine your stance. Let me help you in start, these girls and women were not prostitutes, they were and are victims of the most heinous crime that contemporary scum are committing over deceived and helpless people. As of "unhygienic conditions", even that wasn't their choice.

To trigger some elementary compassion from yours, try to imagine that one of these girls were you personally, your daughter, niece, sister or just a loving friend.

I was thinking about the same thing. I'm a man and I couldn't imagine myself having sex with a woman who is that dirty and (more importantly) who I know is being forced into sex slavery. It seemed that the girls were somewhat cleaned up for the time they were in front of the male clients in the bar. So they didn't look that bad for the clients. But still, the look of the brothel itself was not very "sexy" either. I'm really not sure if I could "get it up" in those circumstances.

Honey, you are a femininist you must know the answer by now if you are a true one --> because men are disgusting pigs who would *beep* anything that moves if they have to. Really some of them even *beep* animals when they lack alternatives. It's all about the situation, if they were back home they could find a decent woman but since they are in a place surrounded by other man and at work, the only way they have to have sex is in those bars. Because I assume no woman would willingly have sex with those rapists sadists loosers, they have to pay for it. And since most men don't think (they probably killed their brain cells with all that alcohol, anyway) they don't even wonder where the women came from. Some of them probably assume the women are there because they want and actually enjoy their company...
