What does the impossibly large creature eat?

It seems it has it's own little ecosystem going on with the flying creatures gathered around it, but what would a creature like that have to consume to sustain itself?

reply

Little boys and little girls...

reply

Haha!

Don't forget snails and puppy-dog tails!

reply

Probably whatever it wants.

Would be cool to see it fight the MUTOs from Godzilla 2014

reply

Do they even need to eat..these are interdimensional creatures after all.

reply

Well the other creatures seem quite keen on eating....stuff. And even interdimensional creatures have to obey some basic laws of physics, surely?

All the other creatures. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

reply

Maybe it eats smaller creatures that came through the same... portal. Maybe it will starve in our world, unable to find enough. The whole movie is full of more maybes than certainties... As it should be.

Trailers

reply

You mean the homes of people who are looked down on by polite society? Those kind of trailers?

reply

Yep

reply

Whales eat krill, so may some kind of flying krill like creature that swarms in great groups.

reply

That's a point, but whales are floating (which allows them to be enormous as they are) and don't have to expend the colossal amount of energy just 'being' and fighting gravity that this creature would need.

Edit: I'm aware I'm applying rules to a non existent universe, but it's fun to speculate

reply

Maybe it lived in a swamp like the big dinosaurs.
