This movie was an insult to human intelligence.

After viewing this ridiculouse excuse of a film, I have come to realise I have no more faith left in humanity. Seriously? Is it just me or are people really getting dumber these days, every single Hollywood cliché was used in this film, there was no imagination in the script whatsoever...it was made for stupid people, who are incapable of thinking for themselves, like mindless drones that Hollywood has produced for a quick cash crop. What happened to those movies like Resorviour Dogs and Fight Club, why are we constantly subjected to this banal tripe like Avatar, which only rely on big budget spending on advanced technological eye candy for success at the box office...where is the *beep* story, character development, they keep forgetting those two aspects because they are no longer relevant anymore, it's because the intelligence level of the human gene pool has dropped significantly in this past decade. The mainstream media has turned you all into cattle! Fewer and fewer movies that require a certain intellectual thought process are being released each year. *beep* all you people, who enjoy this sh**. I’m glad this movie failed at the box office, but it won't make a difference because Hollywood will still keep churning them out!

Thanks for reading, just needed to get that off my chest because I was forced at gunpoint to watch this film...I honestly don't like to be reminded of how dumb people are for watching movies like this, it's just depressing.

Frankly I don't get it why people need to boast with their movies to proof that they are better than the rest.

Better than those who watch movies which they consider to be *lesser* movies.

I watch all kind of movies...Some that people consider to be great artistical movies and others that are simply fun to watch.

Why?

Because I watch movies that I like....wether I want something to think....or something to laugh. It depends on my own currenty taste.

I watch movies for *me*

I have probably as many movies in the top 250 that like as I have in the Bottom. Heck I have movies that you probably never heared of. But all in all.

Like I said...I don't watch movies to proof something to me/you/anybody.

I watch movies simply because I want/like to...

And with that said...

I enjoyed Loseres quite a bit and it was every bit of the movie that I hoped it to be.

And please don't quote unless you at least read what I have written.

I hope you're not going to quit your day job for a job as a movie critic. If you do, you might starve to death.

Correlating taste (in films, music, visual art, whatever) and intelligence has got to be one of the stupidest ideas I've encountered. So I guess that backfired.

these responses have done nothing more but prove my point further!
Ahh, the old "if you don't agree with me, you're stupid" argument. An oldie but goodie.

I guess it is too far out there for some of you "McDonald's" eating folk. Mooo
So if we like McDonald's, we're cattle? Does that mean we're all cannibals?!

The 21st century is when everything changes.

Weird thing is, your whole post sounds like it could have been written by me--I rant about this kind of thing all the time. (And yeah, I *do* think that people are getting dumber wrt movies, and I put most of the blame on misuse of CGI--putting people in the frame of mind where it seems perfectly normal to see guys get thrown 100 feet through the air into a concrete wall, then just get up and shake it off.) EXCEPT that I absolutely *loved* this particular movie. Thought it was very creative, and funny as hell. (And, in reference to another post, I've never read the comic book, er, graphic novel, er, hell, I don't even know the difference, or where you buy the things, even. Comic book stores? I never see any comic book stores.) Aside from Max being a little too over the top or something, and little things like why-bomb-detonators-always-gotta-beep-and-have-blinking-lights, I thought the movie was nearly perfect. I would have been proud to make this film.

Go figure.

One little thing: you do realize that this movie wasn't *supposed* to tax the intellect, right? (Not every film has to.) Kept moving, had lots of laughs (for me, anyway), and that's plenty. Redbox is truly like a box of chocolates, and I'm glad I took the chance.

reservoir dogs? while a good film, it's odd you would use such a blatant ripoff as some sort of standard of originality.
