both got 7.1/10 on IMDB

So to those who have seen both, whats better i have posted this on both films pages to make sure its not just a one sided affair!

i personally liked crank more, it was equally cheesey and at times a little bit worse, but there were more moments i laughed at and it had less or possibly no horrible one liners.

crank had a better storyline opportunity that was not executed as well as it could have been. both films used some interesting camera work but crank to me wins on the editing, the snip shots and general weirdness

shoot em up was a very artsy and almost gun version of a oriental martial arts film with all the over the top kicks and punches. but had a incrediblly stupid (though i guess more original) story again poorly executed and too many rubbish jokes.

for me... Crack wins 6/10
shoot em up 4/10

Shoot-em' Up most definitely. As much as I like Jason Statham this movie is so much more over the top and has more great one-liners than "They Live" can shake a stick at. ;D

I edit my posts nearly 8 HOURS BEFORE someone else originally does just to prove my point.

Shoot 'em up for me. It's more of a direct satire as opposed to Crank which is like a modern exploitation movie.

Not to mention Shoot 'em up had the vastly superior soundtrack....Cranks was just nu-metal awfulness.

This post is one step closer to me never having sex again...

Shoot 'Em Up is way better. I do love Jason Statham, but Crank's action just wasn't as amazing as Shoot 'Em Up's.

Even though I enjoyed Crank it's not even close, SHOOT EM UP wins by far.

but i like Crank More..
