What I thought was it was different from most movies. There aren't a lot of actresses willing to bare themselves that completely, which is why we're not used to it in American films. That said, I thought it fit her character, and if you watch "Network" some time you'll notice Faye Dunaway going braless throughout. Same with Jane Fonda in "Klute". I grew up in the '70s, during the age of bra burning and women's rights, before Victoria's Secret and the "wonder bra", and implants on every other actress on film.

Yes, Maggie slouches, and this takes the breasts down a bit lower than they would be otherwise, but she's a beautiful woman, and very natural.

Yeah, she has some of the nicest looking breasts in Hollywood. I'm glad she is not prudish or close minded about showing them in films.

I don't think it was a tad much, but I think it added more to the element of her character being exploited.
