I was just wondering today,do you think you could do what Leon did and go thru all the stuff he did in the game if it were real life or heck even surviving a Mercenary Mission for a couple minutes?
How far do you think you would get if it was real life.
I would at least know what was going on (I speak spanish) and I have very good reflexes, I have handled a shotgun before and I know how to use it:P So, I'd probably get as far as the Regenerators and probably die.
True true, but if they were organising something, (like in the village when you go into the house to spawn the chainsaw man) you and I would both know what was going on. Hell, I can be mighty confusing when I want to be, I would say something confusing and run :P Imagine if ye found a chainsaw in the village just as the chainsaw guy came for you!
Mendez? El Gigante? Del Lago? Salazars Right Hand? Salazar? IT? Saddler? If I was in Leons shoes, I would somewhat have died from exhaustion. He gets no food whatsoever, runs around like an ostrich on steroids, performing one draining feat after another, getting his ass kicked, runs a little more, and must constantly lookout for enemies, he cannot rest anywhere safely. Imagine the toll this must take, both on your stamina and your mental health.
_____________________________________________________________________ And you have people.. billions of people walking around like Happy Meals with legs.
yeah... everyone saying "i would die at the regenerators": no. you would'nt even be able to get to the castle with ramon. the del lago would finish you off (yes, everyone), or even the first guy you encounter. even leon almost got killed by him (the man woh attacks you with an axe in one of the first cutscenes).
but if you/i was trained by the government to handle those situations, del lago would kill everyone off.
i dont think dr. salvador would do it, because if it was us in the game, in real world, he would die by a shot to the brain or in the chest, but del lago is much more ressiliant, and much bigger, so noone would get across the legg.
but if it was me, i'd run like bloody hell. they dont move that fast, and if anyone or anything surprised me, a quick gunshot to the head would eliminate that problem
the Del Lago part is practically impossible. When you fall to water, it is way TOO hard to swim back safely before the Loch Ness monster's best friend (i made that up) eats you.
wel it depends on what i get to take with me. Say i get to pack my own bag of guns. then, all i gotta do is bring a 30-06 with a scope, and an ammo box ful of bullets. ak47 and ammo box, my .44 magnum, and an ammo box, and a sawed off shotgun, and, yes, an ammo box. here is what you do. climb onto the first house you find, load rifle, ak, shotgun, and magnum. atatch scope to gun, arrange other guns so you know where they are without hving to look at them, have several clips for rifle loaded and ready. put rifle to your shoulder, eye to scope, begin picking people off, only head shots, to save ammo. if they get closer than you want them, grab ak, shoulder it, fire very short bursts, also head shots. if they get ckoser than that, like you don't have time to aim from shoulder, take the magnum, again, fire into heads. use the shotgun last, cause of the spread. repeat everywhere you go, exchanging house roof for tres or whatever else you have around you. having the upper ground is key. a few grenades would be sweet too.
Is there a chemical in X that makes you dance like a prick?
No, don't think anyone could have survived, even trained soldier etc.
(1) How can you carry that many items and run around like a feather? (2) Imagine no ammo and herbs for you to pick up along the way. And no merchant. (3) Even if you manage to grab some first aid kit somewhere, don't think the wounds can be healed in an instance. (4) In reality maybe the very physically capable people can get through one or two chapters. After that, might not have any more strength and energy left! Also the will to live or succeed!
A hostile enviroment. Unknown territory, and you wouldn't have a clue where to go next.
Limited access to resources (I doubt you'll find ammo and cash all over the place, and likely no merchant with weapons either).
As far as I know, no food, unless you bother to slaughter a cow or a raven, while you're being hunted by merciless Ganados. No rest, cause where can you rest in this place?
No backup, you lost two fellows right away, Luis is usually better on running (wise move, if it was real) than fighting. Everyone at the village hates you.
Nah, if it was me, I wouldn't have lasted long. Save Ashley, eh? I would have made a beeline through the forest, if possible, runned from Ganados, and entered the church throughout the windows, cause no way would I go up against Del Lago or Gigantes.
And if I wouldn't need to save Ashley, then I would have gone right back. If the two polices and their car was gone (just like the bridge), I would likely slipped down the rocks and into the river. Rather that fate, if I knew what lied the other way.

To be honest , As soon as I saw the chainsaw dude , Dr.Salvador I think , or the "Bella" Sisters , I'd run for it. Plus the fact even weapons would be awkward. I mean , you can't just reload a gun within a second. If I had the strength , I'd probably get to Del Lago and run away because I can't swim very well. Even though she is a dumb bimbo , I'd rather be Ashley than Leon. Because then you dont have to do anything , He is doing everything for you
I would die right when I got to the village and saw all the people wandering around there. But if I saw that I'd say screw it and leave and hopefully find away across the cliff.
I'd definately die but i think i'd do ok up until then. I've had a lot of training using guns so i've got a pretty good shot. Plus i'm gd at solving problems but there's no way in hell i'd make it to the end.
To be honest i would have never agreed to save her in the first place.
I hear a lot of people talking about how not many could make it past Del Lago. It actually wouldn't be as hard as you think. The only reason Leon had to fight Del Lago is because he was stupid enough not to cut off the anchor. had he done that, he could've zoomed away and got his ass to land faster. Also, Del Lago may be huge and intimidating, but he goes on instinct. I'm sure a person with some intellect could have devised a way to distract Del Lago in Leon's situation.
Across the lake though, encountering your first Plaga might be a tad unnerving.
Not many could make it past Bitorez Mendez, he is way huge and way too powerful, but with a strategy you could. Aim for the spine and shoot it in half, like how it happened, and dealing with the swinging Mendez might be a bit easier using a weapon with some stopping power behind it.
But the fused Salazar, I mean come on. Something that huge couldn't be killed by one guy. I mean, really.
But absolutely no one could make it past "It". Not even Leon, were he real. That thing was too screwed up to kill. Wayyy too powerful, with that tentacle and the huge scissors in the back. Hell no. I would piss myself when I saw it and get chopped in half by the scissors. Damn, I hate that guy.
Having finished the gme, I reckon I'd stand a fighting chance. At least now I know the right strategies to defeat all the boss characters. Screw all the weapons, just bring a Wiimote and nunchuck, they can beat anything...
just to say its a year since this post was posted, how sad of me to notice, and i would die in the game about the time in the village for the first time when there is hundreds of zombies and you run into the house and have to block the door, window, and run upstairs and keep pushing down their ladders whilst shooting them, very hard, i would die =D and the guy with the chainsaw, he would pwn me!
I can't believe some people on here think they'd get as far as the Island. Or hell even as far as the first boss. Think about it, like six Ganados would be on you and hitting you and stabbing you, even if you managed to take them all out there would be more, plus you'd be wounded. I'd be killed before Ada even rang that damn bell, that is if I chose to go through with it. I'm not as confident as Leon, ha!
But seriously, no one here has a chance in hell of making it through the village, nevermind getting past the castle to the Island. That's crazy talk.
Man, all I can do is lower my head in embarressment. Not for myself, but for everyone saying they could get far in this game.
Face it, all of us would die extremely early in the game. Why? because it would be real life. We get stabbed once, we're most likely either dead from the wound or the second stab... and the third... fourth... yeah.
None of us are Leon, because Leon is incredibly unrealistic - because he's a video game character who is player controlled
So what would we be if we were put into that situation? Our fate would be that of the two police officers. Either burning or being eatten.
For everyone with an answer of dying incredibly early in the game - I applaud you for your realistic sense of outcome.
Only if I could absorb all the super-human, pretentiousness the 'returning' characters proffered, then I'd be willing to join in the fun, because only pretentious super-humans could survive such a stupid set of circumstances in the game.
Only thing is, seeing how action-packed the game is, it's tempting to want to paste on different abilities, beyond jumping off of ledges and never getting hurt, being able to throw knives that aren't aerodynamically designed to be thrown or being able to elegantly backflip in a dress that has the same working and length of a red stair-way carpet.
Personally, I'd want stupid mutant abilites just to match all the other idiotic mutants in the game just for the sake of looking cool like wingarms with synthetic blades, being able to dodge bullets and sporting an array of handsome, stronger than diamond, silky smooth tentacles (for when Ashely and I are alone and having a precious moment, that is ^_O ).
i think id last a fair while, although the area with the bonfire... id be hoping the bell rings soon, or id have a quicker loading and reloading weapon, or maybe 4 grenades would be useful until the bell rings. btw, whoever said an MP3 player is a dick... as if youd listen to music when your about to *beep* your *beep* pants... lol
I'd survive, but I wouldn't do it in Leon's fashion. I'd only fire my gun when that's option Z. If you saw something like, say, a Regenerator, would you stay and shoot at it while it's limbs grow back, or would you shag ass? I'd go with the latter thank you.
I would either die at the very first 'zombie', I think I could escape that though. And instead of smashing through the window on the second floor it would be a charge out the front door. I think I would at the first boulder chase, I might possibly make it if I dodged immediatly to one side instead of running away.
This is so stupid to argue any point on this game in real life, but say you did find yourself in the situation; You wouldn't have to do things on a set path. It would be up to you where you go and how you get there. You probably wouldn't even have to bother with a boulder, Indiana...sorry. lol.
Think I would survive? In what specific condition might I ask? If I had plenty of ammunition, supplies, and medicine for the mission, I'd likely survive up to the first battle of El Gigante at least. But if I went with only a pistol I doubt I'd make it, I would probably die at the part where you're in the main town of the village (with the police officer burned on the stake).
A special ops soldier would most likely survive without starting the mission with virtually anything; he'd be like Snake from Metal Gear Solid and use the enviorment as his weapon and source for food.
I would prolly die somewhere in the middle... I would SURELY die in the laser hallway... Wouldn't EVER make it past that in reality. I'm okay with a gun, I've "played" with BB guns and air-soft guns with my friends when we were younger, but other than that, I have no training in something that extreme.
My name is Alice. There was an accident and my career died. The trouble was, it didn't stay dead.
It'd be a miracle to make it past the beginning of the village with all the Ganados. But I'd definitely get crushed by a boulder. It took me 7 tries to get past it on pro mode! If I can't do it on a controller...
too much self importance or doubt in this forum. THe real question is, Would Rambo survive. And yes he would. Would Solid Snake survive. Yes he would. Would Leonidas King Of Spartans survive. Yes he would. Batman? I have no idea. He is the only superhero ever who can actually comes close to real death every now and then. Ethan Hunt. Nope. Sorry.
