I HATE this movie
...the ONLY Pixar film I've ever hated.
shareGood for you. This is my favorite Pixar movie... and in my opinion second only to Lion King in animated movies all time.
OHHH GOOOD FOR YOU!!
This is my favourite of all the Pixar films
shareIt certainly wasn't my favorite, but I didn't quite hate it.
shareThe only two movies I've seen are this and the cavemans valentine. I'm trying to make more tiem in my life to watch movies nut I really enjoyed it
shareThat's just ridiculous. Do you have a phobia of rats or something?
shareI just attempted to watch this thing for the first time. Finally gave up just after the 1-hr mark. The characters in the kitchen are so incredibly annoying, obnoxious and grating. I couldn't take the non-stop yelling for one more minute. I'm fucking done.
shareI don't hate it, per se, but honestly, aside from a few noteworthy characters, it wasn't the best Pixar has ever made. It was worth seeing once, at least. It's kinda weird, but much as I liked Remy (I'd happily befriend him any day of the week and let him cook in my kitchen), Anton Ego fascinates me. He seemed like a villain all this time, and yet in a way, he actually isn't.
Once he finally found a cook who was better than all the others in Paris, you discover that he's more of just a grumpy French Elder Goth who was searching for something a lot of people didn't understand. He also appears to have a wicked sense of humor, and takes pleasure out of scaring people, but he's not doing it to be mean, per se.
If I were to meet him in person, I would be tempted to greet him by saying, "I'm sorry, we don't serve human blood at this establishment, and if you need a place to put your scythe, we have a valet who can keep it safe." Chances are, he might get the joke that I think he's a vampire or a Reaper, and he'd respond with, "I left my scythe at home" and wink at me.
