I actually can't blame Kristen for being so stiff and boring in Twilight because that's how Bella is. Kristen is super talented but Twilight and the rest of the movies are just a silly and badly written movies.

For exposure and money would be my reason. Now that she's a household name, she can get a lot more movie roles than she would have before and now she has a much higher asking price.
Dude they did NOT know how big of a deal it would become and didn't even know there would be a sequel. I really believe she found Bella to be an interesting character to play in terms of what she has to go through. Say what you will about Bella being boring and Twilight crap..she does not lead the most conventional life. And the fact that the movies in some people's opinion turned out like crap is nothing she can control.
And about the money - the girl still lives at home when she's not working. Just look at the clothes she wears. I tell you money is not her driving force, acting is. Since she started working at about eight she's done 22 movies (excluding the absolute earliest and the one she's currently working on) which would make it an avarage of almost two movies a year.
She is better than Just good. She is perfect. And not Just this movie, but in the Twilight Saga as well. Twilight Saga is her best movies yet. She is beautiful, wonderful and a perfect actress. She the beauty, looks, romance, passion and more that Bella needed. She was wonderful as Bella. Speak is her second best movie. No opinion. Fact. She is magnificent as Bella and Twilight Saga rocks.

Have you only seen Twilight and Speak? Have you never watched another movie? The Twilight Saga is the most monotonous piece of sh!t series I've ever heard of. I saw the first one and refuse to subject myself to the other 2.

I loathe Twilight. But if anyone likes it, fine, whatever, have fun. I personally don't understand it, and never will because it's crap crap crap times crap. But Kristen Stewart is a pretty good actress. I saw the Cake Eaters (not that great, not that bad), and she was good (physically, i.e. she plays a handicap) but emotionally--> I figured she was whatever, felt like she was kinda doing the same attitude and everything like in Adventureland. But THEN, I saw the Runaways, and she does a pretty awesome job portraying Joan Jett. It's a good film to catch her not playing the typical, "ugh, whatever, hate my life, I'm an angsty teenager" kinda character.

I agree that Kristen Stewart was really well cast and did a good job in Speak. But I don't think that is because she was a good actress, actually her performance is ALWAYS THE SAME. Always the same pale, unhappy face. For Speak, this was a bless, for Twilight it was terrible.
