People who can't dance hate this film

I think this movie is highly underrated. People just hate on it because they don't appreciate good dance moves. I snuck a cup of orange sherbert into the theatre when I saw it on opening night and I was so blown away by the first dance scene that I dropped it all over the floor(what a mess). But I also had an extra large popcorn. This guy sitting next to me would get an erection everytime Omarion did a spin or a knee-slide and that was a bit uncomfortable, but it didn't ruin the overall experience. I think everyone should watch this movie again and then vote 10.

P.S. Does anyone know if they will be filming a sequel.

"I am able to spend my time doing much more productive and worthwhile things. While you might dance circles around me I would knock you on your ass in about 2 seconds."

Laughing. I pee in pants. You owe me new pants. Post your address so I can send you the bill, but please don't knock me over on to the ground. We can settle this dispute in a peaceful way: by dancing. I will even give you a few lesons first if you wish to learn. Before I was a dancer on The Grind(as mentioned above), there were several daily routines I went through to reach the level I am at. All you have to do is devote small pieces of everyday lifetime to practice and you will no longer get served. So simple. Unless you are a simpleton. Ha ha ha. Who's laughing now? (i was making joke) In all of the honesty, I can help you and am willing to do so.

Can I get some tips too?

Has he lost his mind? Can he see or is he blind? Can he walk at all? Or if me moves, will he fall? "I AM IRON MAN."

I am not denying the dancing talent or choreography in this movie. I was street dancer, so naturally I was interested in seeing it. I am much older than the age range this movei was targeted to so I have seen my fair share of "dance related" movies

Beat Street
Saturday Night Fever
Staying Alive
Footloose
Fast Forward
Electric Boogaloo
Flashdance
Save the Last Dance
Lambada
The Forbidden Dance
Salsa
Honey

I could go on for days...soem were good and some were bad....one thing that the majority of them had however was a decent STORY. It wasn't just about dancing, it was what motivated them to dance..etc...if I wanted to just watch dancing..I can go to the club.. the reason American Idol is so popular is not because there are great singers..it is because people identify with the contestants..You Got Served is a brainless movie about dance, bad acting, corny dialogue, no emotional content..just dancing..admit it..if you took the dancing out it would bore you to death..

i liked this film..i dont understand why hardly anyone else did!

"because waiting for you is like waiting for rain in this drought, useless and disappointing"

I only watch this film if I can fast forward through the parts where anyone in the movie is speaking. If this movie were reduced to 20 minutes long and only had dance, it would be on my list of favorite movies.

"So you just pretend to be an a**hole?"
"It's what I'm good at"

This.

I have realized you can't make a difference. You must accept your fate

Hideo, I don't do the drugs. I tried caffeine pills three times and that was enough for me. Drugs ruin the lives of honest hard working people like us. We are the same. I prefer another five letter word that begins with the letter "D" and that word is "dance." Dance until your shoes come off. Or kick them off voluntarily and bask in the sunlight which shines from your inner soul. Tears of joy may fall, and release may occur. The Divine smiles upon the meek. Reflect (like mirror) and consolidate the connection.

Yes Hello i'm a boy whos hetro. And i live in "da hood" in denmark yes we are very poor we only have 2 computers. I've had a alot of jobs in my life and i do enjoy movies. I can dance like john travolta and michael jackson. I can do the robot the monkey the yolanda sweep and the walk-on-the-floor thing that travolta does in grease. I'm a half 50% pakistany and 25 % danish and 25 % German

when i play wow which is my favorite game i write like this "7h47 i5 1iek z3 pwn4g3" when i want to speak like a moron i speak like this : "Ich bin so glad das you are from ze diggy ding dang hood and *beep* you pwn my hat off you dig? REPRESENT"...

tbh who the *beep* cares what you guys do. Does it matter if you're black or asian or green. You thought the movie sucked and you don't need to have a higher IQ then einstein to dislike this movie. So chill out peepz and shut the *beep* up about "i'm a writer" and "i'm a worker" and "i'm Black with a little asian in me (which doesn't make sense only in a gross way)" It doesn't matter you disliked the movie (or liked) whatever we don't need your background story

and wildyokel the last post you just made, sounded so gay that the people the fab five would think you're the largest fairy in the world

"Ding Dong, The psycho's gone"

It cannot be denied that the dancing in this movie is nothing short of amazing; however, the rest of the movie is rather tired and the film only comes alive during the dancing.

I was raised by my uncle (who is incidentally also named Eric) after my parents were killed in an accident involving electricity of which I wish to go into no further detail. Life was not rich at my place, so we decided to immigrate to the United States when I was still young lad. We came with no valued possesions except for the clothes on our backs and a sack full of potatoes and cleaning supplies. We could not afford shoes most of the time, though my uncle would wear his soles thin so I could walk comfortably. Many people speak ill of the US, but it truly is the Land of Opportunity and fortune smiled upon my small family when I discovered the art of dance and my affinity for it. I feel that some may have been interested in my background so I thought I would share a fragment of it.

I would like to hear the stories of others who are champions of love, peace, and, though not exclusively, dancing. I am not angry with those who refer to me as homosexual because I feel that there is still hope for almost everyone, and the second that attitude is abandoned, the soul will suffer. The path does exist but it must be sought.

I am still hearing the rumours that a sequel will be filmed? Does anyone know the fact or fiction of these words?

I agree compleatly. I love this movie. Its not like they are just doing tricks, but they are also dancing. Dancers dont appreciate the value of this movie. First off, OMARION IS HOT! Lol... And his bro aint bad lookin either. Ya'll need to stop hatin on the movie. They worked hard on the movie. Just get on with your life.......... I loved it and I think they did great dancing and I spent money on it and I dont regret it one bit.

P.S A sequel would be cool but it would never happen considering what happened to the members... B2K

What did happen to the members of B2K?

i can't dance but that doesn't mean my favourite show is not so you think you can dance. the dancing in the movie's ok but the movie's boring, has bad plot, bad actors, etc. that's why it got a really low review (i thought it deserved at least a 3.5).
