Was anyone else besides me satisfied with the fact that Johnny Depp went and killed his ex-wife and her other man? I actually was cheering! Anyone else?

I wasn't cheering like a crazy person when the homewreckers were slaughtered or anything.
Although I do think it's weird that you could live with a guy for 10 years and not notice that he suffered from dissociative personality disorder.
I absolutely wasn't cheering, I was more like flabbergasted that the movie would take that route. It's just a very unlikely ending, that's why I really enjoyed it. I was shocked (positively) how the movie basically skips over the death of the two and we see Mort just strolling around like the happiest person on Earth.
The only thing that made me go "what?" was when we see the "after the murders"-house, lacking ALL "SHOOTER" carvings. Did he really remove every single carving? In what time period? Nobody else ever came around after the killings? That puzzled me.
I still prefer the book ending, where Shooter gains life through Mort's death, but that's probably because Shooter's my favorite character.

I was hoping he'd die or at least pay for what he did, I don't like that he gets away with it, they know it was him but they'll never be able to prove it.

Yes I thought it was a great ending, really glad the killer got away with it for once. I liked Depp character so that probably helped.
