Did you watch this film on the back of the YouTube parodies?

Quick question.

Did anyone watch this film based ON the circulation of all the Downfall parodies, or had you watched it already? Would the YouTube parodies make you more or less inclined to watch it?

I never heard of this movie, and watched some parodies, then I finally decided to search what movie were they based on.

It's been on my "mental watchlist". When I realized this was on Amazon Prime, I set up a couple of evenings to watch through it. I did see the parodies beforehand, but it's nice to have the original context!

I watched the movie first and thought it was very good. The first parodies were pretty good, taking the original scene and just subbing new words. But now they're pretty silly putting Hitler into strange places not even shown in the movie.
