WE had to watch this in my band class today. They were definitely weird toward each other. The whole movie was HORRIBLE and the acting was just as bad, not that I expect any less from a Hilary Duff movie. Anyway, they were way to weird. They were extremely happy whenever they were together. Also, who's brother runs around taping everything she does? And who flirts with their brother like that?

I love this movie, but when I saw it for the first time it was kind of predictable that Paul would die, dissapear or something because of their unrealisticly close relashionship. It´s not very commom for brothers and sisters to be so close at that age.

What the problem being close to your brother and sister I have a sister and a brother who are close together they like 13 months apart they very close and so is my older brother who is the thrid child be very close, I'm very close to my sister so what's up with that?

Iam really close to my family.It is not uncommon for siblings to get along that good. I was really close to my cousin who died on christmas and i was just as devestated as Terri was in the movie. When you are that close in age you have a special bond. I am very close to all of my older cousins...we are all really close to each other. Is that so wrong in the world today????

Some brothers and sisters are close the way Paul and Terri.

I am close to my brother. We are 3 years apart and we do get along.

Why does films, which have closeness between brothers/sisters/friends some people automatically, assume that their closeness is something more?

I have noticed this on lots of boards.
It was even on the board with Chronicles of Narnia. The Fawn and Lucy.

It’s really annoying to see this on a lot of boards.

Yes there are some films, which have that more than brother/sister/friend closeness. But most of the films don’t but people imply that there is something going on.

I really don't agree with you,,, sounds like you missed the part where she says "eww, gross". coming from someone who's sibling is dating their best friend, it's just wierd when your sibling and best friend are flirting in front of you. That's all it was.

Its just a personality trait
Some siblings fight
and some siblings are always there for each other

No, this was unusually close. I have 5 brothers and sister, and if my brothers ever were as obsessed as he was, with the filming in the bathroom and all, I would really feel uneasy. Also, what about the accident scene? How many people would look and smile at their sister right before impact? Most, if not all, would be screaming and looking ahead, or trying to shield themselves. What a non realistic movie. I also think the obsession was one sided.

If you pay close attention, you see he's not smiling at her, his teeth are clenched. He knows what's going to happen, why would he smile? Really, come on. Everyone that I have talked to about this movie says the same thing, he's clenching his teeth, I did the same thing when I was in a car accident.

I don't think it's weird. I go through times when I am really close to my brother. But if my brother was ever filming me it'd be for blackmail purposes only.

I missed the first 5 minutes of the movie and I totally thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Look at his face when he is filming her in the bathroom. He probably just thinks Hilary Duff is hot and is scamming on her or something.
