This is the worst movie I have ever, ever seen. I would not wish this movie on the man that kills my mother. This is the worst movie ever. There has never been a movie that compares in sheer horridness to this movie. I've seen some really , really bad movies in my time, but this one is in a league of its own. This is the worst movie any man on any planet has ever created. I've seen the worst, like versus, and I love versus now because this was the worst thing I have ever seen. I am stupider after having seen this movie. I hate you. Please GOd, don't watch this movie unless you wish severe mental anguish. This is the worst movie ever made. I repeat, this is the WORST movie I have ever laid my eyes on. Oh, my, GOD.

You sir, have not seen many movies. I would like to point to Jackie Chan's The Medallion, for example.

To be honest, I found the medallion more entertaining than this one.
It is by no mean a masterpiece, but at least it didn't take itself too seriously.

The problem with this movie, for me, is the drama. I wasn't touched by the characters background, and I couldn't really care happens to them. That made the drama annoying.

The movie reminds me of a lot things (ET and Matrix amongs other things), but it just didn't work IMO.

Is this the worst movie ever? Well, no.. But this one doesn't get a "pass" for me..
(I guess I would've prefered if there was more skirmish with the alien forces)

After your first sentence "This is the worst movie I have ever seen," you pretty much repeat yourself a further dozen or so times, so how about some reasons to justify this scathing review as I've not seen it, and was considering getting it. What I have read about it before has been quite positive.

Argh! You anger me! Some movies are entertaining BECAUSE of their awkward cheesiness. Ever see Billy Jack? How about Time Runner, starring Mark Hammel (aka Luke Skywalker)? Go see those and then you will know what I am talking about. Those movies make you realize that some movies were INTENDED to be cheesy, and thus lies their appeal. BTW, this movie isn't all that bad. Not as bad as you claim it is. I would say it is equivilant to an American 'made for TV' movie.

Congratulations on having no supporting evidence to make that claim.

Quite honestly, this film has some of the best production quality of most Japanese films I've seen, big budget or not. Tomei, Suicide Club, Samourai Warriors, Versus, all quite honestly sucked it up.

While I will readily admit I don't have the finest taste in Japanese foreign films, action orientated or otherwise, I found this to be more than an enjoyable film. While it obviously wasn't your cup of tea, you didn't think you were going to gain any new friends by coming in here and simply bashing the movie with less than intelligable insults now are you...?

ok i will not agree with most...ths move wasn't really that good, i didn't care about the characters....and i just didn't like when they put the lil "flashback damn we should like these characters" bit, and i do love movies that are cheesy, like some bruce campbell movies...and even versus was a lil cheesy...but i honestly think this movie was tryin to touch you...and it really touched me...in my butt. Also i love big elaborate "happeneings" but for him to jump into that space ship even wit the slow timer is goin overboard. I did like the idea though...that the humans started the war and my mind had to work a lil at the end when the main character died and it was really nelly or whatever from the saved future...on a 10 scale..1 bad 10 good...4...vs was more entertaining

it is supposed to be 'bad' in a peculiar way, i'm sorry that you can't understand that, i see you don't have the taste of it (since versus is 'the worst' movie you've seen)..and by the way you've just made the worst movie review i've ever read,you didn't state any reason that made you think the movie was 'bad',and now i ask my self why the heck am i answering to such a pile of bs?well it's kind of fun..you make me feel like a cinema guru..wich i'm certainly not.

If You have any kind of feeling to this movie that it has done it's aim.
The movie is nice and better than some of american ones.
