somethings gotta give
stardust
gone with the wind
ps i love you
v for vendetta
=) loads more i just can't think.
I don't know if this fits...it should because the movie started with tragedy...it was the whole set up.
"What Dreams May Come"
Amazing love story! Chris & Annie! He finds her in the depths of HELL and brings her back!
I agree with most others:
Say Anything (Lloyd & Diane)
Sixteen Candles (Samantha & Jake)
A Walk to Remember (Jamie & Landon)
and of course
Princess Bride (Pwincess Bwuttacwup & Wesley)
Wow some of you have some weird choices! Sixteen Candles? Seriously?
I can't believe only like 2 people mentioned Forrest Gump but like 10 people mentioned Romeo and Juliet and Twilight??!!! WTF!!! If Forrest Gump isnt one of the greatest love stories of all time then I don't know what is!
My top two would be Titanic and Forrest Gump, then some other great ones are:
The Notebook
Edward Scissorhands
Beauty and the Beast
Life is Beautiful
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Stardust
Dirty Dancing
Ghost
Moulin Rouge
It's a Wonderful Life
RIP Michael Jackson ~ The greatest entertainer and legend to ever live!!!!!!!! <3
Rose and Jack definitely. (Titanic)
Cecilia and Robbie. (Atonement)
Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. (Pride and Prejudice)
V and Evey. (V For Vendetta)
dude. rhett and scarlet.
"Did Steve tell you that, perchance?"

Titanic's Love Story is the greatest. The Chemistry between Kate and Leo was Awesome and i really liked the Tragic Ending. I also liked Revolutionary Road and Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
I don't like love stories with happy ending, i prefer tragic ending since it is the truth.
Call me a weird guy or whatever but i prefer sad or tragic endings not the happily ever after endings. Are there any movies fitting in that category and also being great fun to watch.
Yeh i also forgot Edward Scissorhands. I really loved it. Wall-E and Eve were great as well.
