Every hollywood remake of brillant british films ends up being <crap>!!!!!
Heres what happens.
Bad director can't think of a film to make so he goes and finds a good british film and thinks "i'll put more guns and explosions in it and change the script enough that it makes no sence and the get some crappy actors, oh yeah and set it in the USA. That'll make a good film that millions of tastless people will go and see."

I have a really good suggestion for your problem. don't watch American movies. Its that simple. But I can imagine your frustration. It must suck to see all these Americans in the movie business making pots of money while you sit in some flat drawing the dole, eh?

It's not only Americans who are making pots of money from rubbishy films though, look at the appalling amount of money the kids from Harry Potter rake in with every film.

To be honest I don't particularly feel jealous of the dreary overrated Hollywood actors. Especially since they usually have a short career and spend most of their money on coke to stuff up their noses before ending up in rehab clinics.
