1. Irreversible (rape scene) 2. Ichi the Killer (nipple slice) 3. Oldboy (after you find out she was his daughter) 4. tetsuo the iron man( the whole movie is *beep* up... i love it) 5. Cannibal Holocaust (all animal killings) I have alot more such as Men behind the sun etc, but i only said 5 lol. What are the hardest scenes in a movie for you to watch?
He actually jumped because he was trying to get his gun to Ray before Harry made his way downstairs to kill him. Unfortunately the gun was destroyed along with most of Kens body.
5. Oldboy (the tongue thing) 4. Saw (some of the original traps) 3. Cube (again...those traps) 2. Irreversible (rape scene) 1. Anatomy of Hell (tampon tea(yes, its as bad as it sounds))
u mean the devil inside right>? where the lady is in the catholic hospital and has a gory abortion. ohh and i agree with you on hostel part 2, the bath scene where the older goth woman uses old skool medievel weapons and then bathes naked in that girls blood made me sick.. the way she was crying gave me chills it seemed so real.
1.) Martyrs (the last half hour. I had nightmares and spent more than a week trying to forget what I saw.) 2.) Subconscious Cruelty (A man gets his erect pecker torn apart with fish hooks) 3.) Ichi the Killer (The infamous nipple scene) 4.) Guinea Pig Flower of Flesh and Blood (Most of the film I found funny; The eyeball gouging was nasty) 5.) Emanuelle Around the World (Bestiality rape scenes) 6.) Cannibal Holocaust (The animal killings) 7.) Nekromantik (the rabbit killing) 8.) Men Behind the Sun (I literally felt sick to my stomach during the cat scene and the autopsy) 9.) Sweet Movie (the scatological orgy with poop, puke, urine, breast milk, food ect.) 10.) Irreversible (Probably one of the worst rapes in movie history)
I can handle most things in films, but animal killings always get to me.
Interesting topic. I guess mine would have to be (in no particular order):
Irreversible - Fire extinguisher scene & the brutal beating Monica Bellucci takes *after* the rape. The rape itself was horrific, but for some reason the beating he delivered to her afterwards was so much worse. It was like he had already destroyed her emotionally, so now he felt he had to destroy her physically too.
Cannibal Holocaust - Turtle killing scene. All of the animal killings in that film were very disturbing, but the turtle scene is what got to me the most. I guess it was because it went on for so long & was done in such graphic detail. And judging by the size of that turtle, it had to be pushing 100 years old, which makes it all the more tragic that it had managed to live that long & then some crazy explotation film maker comes along & decides to slice it up for shock value.
City of the Living Dead aka Gates of Hell - Gut puking scene. Vomiting terrifies me & sickens me more than anything else in the world. And someone literally puking her guts out is absolutely horrifying.
Men Behind the Sun - The scene when that poor man's insides implode & his guts come squirting out his ass. I was afraid to have a bowel movement for days after I watched that.
Clean, Shaven - The *beep* fingernail scene!!! Just thinking about that one makes me shiver. It was bad enough having to watch him try & cut radio transmitters out of his head, but nothing could've prepared me for the moment when he decided to pry off his entire fingernail with a knife in close-up, graphic detail.
5. Teeth- pretty much all of the genital mutilation scenes (i'm very attached to my privates)
4. Black Christmas (remake)- what's with everyone getting stabbed in the freaking eye?
3. The Hills Have Eyes- i think it was one of the hills have eyes movies that had a pretty bad rape. although i haven't seen Irreversible yet. but really, any rape scene is hard to watch.
2. Feast 2- *spoiler* the baby getting eaten
1. Revenge of the Sith- any time anakin and padme have a scene together, i cringe so badly i have to look away. "no, it's because I'M so in love..."
I have to add another movie i just saw to this list. Its called Come And See. Excellent but a very challenging movie to watch. How WW2 should be filmed.
I heard about Antichrist. Want to c that one. I have another movie to add lol. Its called All Night Long 2: Atrocity. Its worse that Mordum but i didnt really find Mordum very disturbing. It was still good for what it was.
I forget which ones were the hardest to watch for me, but for 5 of the more memorably traumatic ones...
1.Requiem for a Dream (anything showing the mom's spiral downwards and the sadness of her life).
2. Necromantik 2 (I didnt finish this one, the scene with her grinding on the guy's slimy body then throwing up in the beginning was enough for me).
3. Happiness (the kid asking his dad if he raped his friends)
4. Kids (pretty much any scene when the boy with hiv was having sex, or the one where the girl with hiv gets raped).
5. American History X (I haven't seen this for a while but I remember it being really sad in the end, after watching the whole emotional story unfold.)
I didnt find irreversible very hard to watch... mostly because I couldn't relate to it.
Rape and gore movies usually don't upset me even remotely as much as depressing life stories.
