Completely Underrated

Actually, it's completely overrated.

I think the problem is that its spoofing John Hushes films from the mid 1980s to a audience of teens in 2001!

Agree, this is a pretty good movie! Its just a comedy but it´s far better than most parody films like the wayan brother´s.
Can´t believe that it´s 5,9 in IMDB.

It is extremely underrated. Of the many parody movies there are and been made after this, this one remains as one of the best of the new millenium. Will these compare to those parody movies from the 80's......oh hell no, but this movie was still funny as it is.

Oh, its HORRIBLY underrated. I totally its one of the best parody movies of all time - more clever than "Scary Movie" and far funnier than anything that came from the twisted, dark minds of Friedberg and Seltzer. (BTW, The irony of the latter's last name harkening back to the Seltzer Bottle - that most tired, lazy and cliché gag of comedy history has NOT been lost on me.)

Anyway, "Not Another Teen Movie" deserves all the cult status it gets and more. It's critical failure and sort of middling box office was a real shame in 2001, but something tells me it's star - Captain America Himself - is probably not too bummed about it anymore.

Absolutely, it's just a fact. Totally underrated. I sooo wish my future wife will know about this and love it too lol, it's such a comedy gem and a paradigm of our 80's/90's generation and lots of what came with that. A very important movie, and every scene is either funny or hilarious.

This movie is funny as hell. Easily a 10/10 for me. But of course, I was raised in the 90s.
