I would go more Lizzie McGuire...i grew up watching this show and can defiantly relate to it more. At least at that age. and miley cyrus is pretty annoying. what about you guys?

Lizzie McGuire, definitely. I was in middle school when it was on, so I related to it more personally. Also, Hannah Montana's pop-star thing just annoys me. I guess I'm just too old to enjoy it. I also thought the acting was better on L.M. And it didn't have a laugh track. What happened to shows about normal kids, like Lizzie McGuire, Naturally Sadie, Even Stevens and Ready or Not? I miss them...
It was cool to Lizzie Mcguire on the Disney Channel today. Seriously, I haven't seen this show in like 4 or 5 years!!
Definitely Lizzie McGuire! I don't know how anyone can stand Hannah Montana. Honestly Hilary Duff and Miley Cyrus have been over-estimated. But, Miley Cyrus is sooo much more annoying. Her voice is so annoying and the acting is terrible. The script is terrible in Hannah Montana and nobody can relate to the show. Lizzie Mcguire is actually cute and fun to watch. I at least can sit down and watch Lizzie McGuire without cringing, unlike Hannah Montana. I've tried watching HM when Jake Ryan was on it, but it was so so cring-worthy i couldn't do it.

I used to watch "Lizzie McGuire" several years ago and I enjoyed it very much back then. It was a cute show, the animated Lizzie was sassy and witty, the storylines entertaining, the characters likeable and Hilary Duff was gorgeous. She was the main reason for watching the show, although I liked "Lizzie" for the other mentioned reasons as well. But I shall confess that I haven't seen the show since 2004.
As it goes for "Hannah Montana"; I didn't cared for it at all at first and when I first did, I became obsessed. Sure, the show is flawed in many terms; it's overracted and has bad lines now and them, but I found that show refreshing and frisky, with excellent characters (Jackson and Oliver), catchy Hannah songs and actually good morals. But my obsession with Hannah ended after I saw the highly dissapointing movie (that never should have been made) and the latter season is horrible.
As for Miley and Lizzie as protagonists; I remember Lizzie as pretty flawed as well, she had her moments of selfishness towards her friends and family, but she was more credible on her good moments. Miley started out as a likeable and energetic girl, but she soon became selfish and unlikeable. And is it just me, or does Miley has a bitchy aura? I'm not saying that Miley Cyrus is a bad person, but I think she has a annoyed aura.
Lizzie Mcguire. is it me or does it seem unanimous because I've read most of these and Lizzie wins by a landslide........Well you can't be surprised.

lizzie 100% no question about it. it was actually about growing up and there were real problems presented and they talked about real things now disney shows like hannah montanna is all fluff.

Lizzie McGuire definitely, just for me less sitcomish which is what every Disney channel show is now! And yeah she deals with more realistic stuff than Hannah Montana.
But I don't know why people are comparing them because they are two very different shows, they just happen to be Disney's most famous tv shows though.
Lizzie wins any day over Miley. The show was just better in every way. I'm glad I grew up looking up to her rather than Miley as well.

what kind of a question is this? Lizzie McGuire, of course. I never saw the appeal of "Hannah Montana". The annoying laugh track, horrible acting, "sweet niblets", a girl who no one can recognize when she puts a wig on, and just a sense of humor that is stupid and unfunny. Lizzie McGuire is a show that was fun watching as a kid, and now it's a show that I can relate to (I'm 14 now).

Definitely Lizzie McGuire. I have watched both shows all the way through, and Lizzie McGuire is one of the original great shows, before Disney was trying too hard and every show had to have a "thing" - like Suite Life living on a cruise, Hannah Montana being a pop star, Wizards (obvious) - she was just an average everyday girl and she was very real for the time period the show was in (lol yes they dressed pretty bad but this was the early years of the new millenium!)
I love this show so much more than Hannah Montana - HM is annoying and often tries too hard.
