Amores Perros VS Crash

For me: Crash. It was so emotionally-involving and maybe that's the main reason among others.

I'll go for amores perros,

Crash is like a tragic version of love actually. It's probably some levels lower than amores perros. I think amores perros has a very accurate timing within it's parallel stories. it keeps you wondering.

Probably you can compare amores perros with pulp fiction. But Either, amores perros still wins. Especially because it comes from a country less resourceful, movie-wise.

Crash is a piece of crap! Funny how gringos reward themselves for knocking off far superior foreign films like this one

"Crash" is an absolute joke of a film.

"Amores Perros" is a masterpiece.

Not even worth comparing rubbish like "Crash" to "Amores Perros".

Both had a few problems, but Amores Perros is definitely the better movie. Crash was kind of melodramatic and it was also kinda plain, like chicken with too little seasoning on it, whereas Amores Perros is set in a bright, vibrant world, and it doesn't seek redemption for it's characters like Crash did with that montage at the end of everybody having a happy ending.

However, the main problem with both movies was that they felt a bit soap opera-ish at a few points. I forgave them for it though, because its only for a little that it does occur.

Why has no-one ever gone after the producers of Crash as it so clearly ripped off so much from Amores Perros. There’s no mention of the similarities or the controversy in any reference such as Wikipedia or film reviews at the time as far as I can find. Given that it won an Oscar for best film I would have thought that the flagrant plagiarism would have at least been debated in the media.

Crash is manipulative overly dramatic trash. Amores Perros is much more raw although it still has some weaknesses like the drawn out Richie story.
