Amores Perros VS Crash

These 2 movies are quite similar to each other. What do you find a better movie and please explain why?

Amores perros is a much better film and still the best film of Iñarritu... simply put it is a thousand times more passionate.

So many sheep making silly noises.

Crash is a very respectable film with an outstanding script. The characters are beautifully designed and very well interwoven in to a magnificent plot to display extreme racism and prejudice.
Anyone who declares this as the most unrealistic and poor interpretation of society or the world we're living in needs to pop their bubble and step outside for a few moments.
Even if it may appear extreme does it create a response from you? Disgust? Shock? Well of course it does, it sickened me to hear the disgusting racist characters in this film and that's precisely what the director intended.
Now if Crash was shot in a gritty style with characters on the extreme ends of society, for example... Amores Perros. How would that affect the film? More believable? Still as shocking? Somehow it isn't. I'm pretty sure you can discover why it isn't by yourself. Just because a film is not as realistic as another does not make it worse.

Crash certainly achieves a reaction from me with its brutal and relentless derogatory racist script. There's also truth within the script that people are blind to because it's 'not realistic' enough.

Amores Perros is a beautifully shot, acted, and involved film with a real sense of urban Mexican city life, whether it's true or not it certainly creates a scene and a story.

I vouch for Amores Perros being a better film but Crash is by no means a bad film, in fact, I'd go as far as to say it's one of the most emotionally responsive films to date. Nothing beats Magnolia in my opinion though.

Amores perros is a wonderful movie with a lot of passion and deep storytelling. Not shiny Hollywood type. it has a few boring and long parts but it rocks.

Not even a question. Amores Perros is brilliant, like many people said, extremely human, heartfelt, and real. Crash does not reach Amores Perros' level.

I really do have love to give, I just don't know where to put it

I think Crash is slightly better because it knows what it wants to be and although it has some flaws i think it succeeds at that.Amores Peros was better acted, but it really didn't get me to relate to any character really. Not that Crash did much but at least it tied it's stories better.

watch carefully because the portrayed character's lifes are changing according to their dogs in the movie and when you think like that it gives you the whole big picture.

It never occurred that Crash is even comparable to Amores Perros. After seeing Amores Perros in a movie theater, I also bought a DVD and watched it like a dozen more times. After watching Crash once, I felt like asking for my money back. I stopped paying attention to Oscars after this fake movie won one. Honestly, Crash was one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen, although this style of film was very typical of today's overly racially conscious and politically correct Hollywood. Fake cheesy plot designed, towards the end, to please everyone and offend no one. Amores Perros is a real life stuff. Dog fights, teen pregnancy, violent crime like armed robberies, kidnappings, assassinations, criminally dangerous drivers, etc all part of every day life in Mexico, though all of those things are just a backdrop to explore the lives and relationships between the main characters.
