What's the saddest part of the show for you?

As funny as this show was, it was also really sad at times. The saddest part of the show for me was when Sam finds out Cindy is not the girl of his dreams after all. While I watched the show for the first time there were sad moments however, I always said to myself, don't worry Sam and Cindy will fall in love But once they're in that theater you know things are starting to go south. This show showed how things don't always work out in the end and I loved the show for that but sadly, that's probably why most people didn't watch the show.

The parts I usually find the most emotional are the parts with Eli. Seeing him be made fun of, Lindsay trying to stand up for him and then it backfiring, when Lindsay dances with him, but the moment with Eli that I find the most touching is when he asks if the seat is taken at the geeks table and they invite him to sit with them and actually have a conversation with him. It's nice to see them actually being friends to him, I think he needed a solid group of friends like that.

First thing that comes to mind is the Weir mom in the halloween episode. Things she excitedly planned went astray. Her excitement reminded me of my mom and Lindsay's behavior my own when I was a teen and the many times I let my mom down :(

On the end of the episode where Daniel had problems with punk music comes to Kim and they had a hug.

There's something wrong with Esther.

The final episode is just so sad. Particularly for me, what Lindsey did.
She rebels, but I hoped in the end she would go on to the decathlon and make the right choice, but instead she has let down so many people, including herself, but mostly her mother, who is a lovely lady.
She might be going out to live and enjoy but I feel in the longrun it's a regrettable decision and that is very sad.

For me the ending was the saddest too and absolutely perfect. Everything from the song choice, script, setting, to the acting was brilliant. It felt like they were saying goodbye for real! I wonder if the actors knew at the time that that was the last episode? As far as Lindsay's choice, it was dumb but considering her age and the time period of the show it was very realistic. I have no doubt Lindsay went on to become a successful professor or lawyer. ;)

When Neil throws the clicker at his dad's car when he finds the garage.

Also just the end, thinking about how far the show went in just 18 episodes. The finale is a very different show than the pilot.
