Why the incredibly high rating on IMDb and mostly low ratings elsewhere?

Including rottentomatoes.com and other web sites, not to mention, from the commonly intelligent film fans, mostly rather low ratings and poor reviews themselves (poor as in, not badly written, bad given low marks to the movie and explained as such) written on IMDb as well, but still a high overall ratings of around 7.8 out of 10?

What is the surprising secret and mystery behind all this?

And how come few other movies are generally rated so well overall on IMDb but poorly elsewhere?

How is it rated lower on rotten? 91% audience score is lower to you??

The movie IS fun to watch and even rewatch. Fuck the critics, who cares what they say anyway ;)

Because it's a crap movie that kids and teenagers who have never seen an R rated action movie think is awesome.
