It's not like he's never hit upon a plot hole, coincidence, or error before, but it seems to me to be more of a "broken clock is right twice a day" thing. He tends to throw minor hiccoughs and continuity errors in with what would be larger plot holes, often conflating them and acting like movies "make no sense" if they have minor issues.
With his mid-level or big "plot holes," oftentimes they have explanations within the film or make sense if you think about them. Others are completely explicable with character motivation involved. He does seem to stumble over more reasonable plot holes (human batteries) but never grants suspension of disbelief and never is interested in any buy-in.
Also, he just pours these posts out, churning them against movie after movie. It seems like trolling, even if it isn't, and the fact that he can't/won't/doesn't seem to understand how plots and stories work is a problem.
He doesn't often respond to rebuttals, either, and when he does he never seems to be listening. He either ignores any counter-points or he just asks a dozen more questions about the movie.
This is a minor point, but his topics often meander quite far afield from his initial complaints. His posts are unfocused.
Sometimes I respond to his posts, but I'm not entirely sure why.
