Even though Anakin becomes evil at the end of the movie, his personality, his pattern of speech, and his mannerisms in his "evil" state don't seem to line up with how he is in the suit as Darth Vader. There should have been a better way of showing the physical and emotional transformation of Anakin into Darth Vader as a character.
shareSomeone else should've written the prequels. Lucas had no idea how to write characters with depth by the time he made the prequels.
shareIt is but to be fair it's hard to imagine Sabastian Shaw as the man who was always under the costume as well. I hated how Return Of The Jedi made Vader a pussy.
Darth Vader will always be the character in Star Wars and Empire to me. That's his iconography.
