shareone of the best movies ever
shareYep, some people just need 20 years to realize that.
shareI'm in the middle. I enjoy the PT more than I don't. I'm generally of the belief that most movies are enjoyable if you just allow yourself to enjoy them. That doesn't mean they're *good,* there's a difference. But I've always liked PT. Certainly not as good as OT, but nothing ever can be. But sometimes it's just as popular to hate on something because it's new as it is to love it.
sharebingo
shareIt's got the most screentime for Natalie out of the trilogy. That's a good argument in it's favor.
shareGreat action, Count Dooku is really interesting, and Natalie Portman's abs. What's not to like? Besides Hayden and all his dialogue.
shareNot quite but very underrated. It did have the best world building & probably the best soundtrack. Even if there were some areas where it could have been better executed such as the romance scenes (even though i under what Lucas was trying to do with it) It's still top tier "Star Wars".
shareWhat does "world building" mean? I see it a lot.
shareA quick google search would explain it better but some examples are new planets, new species, a deeper exploration of Jedi culture ... etc. Just a variety of things that enrich and expand the mythos of Star Wars.
shareOh ok. You mean like new environments such as the water planet Kamino etc. It's always interesting to see that.
shareAll three of the prequels have their plus and minuses. I find it hard to choose which ones the best.
shareI think they are all pretty much equally lousy. This film has the most cringe-worthy moments of the bunch but there are a few things in its favor:
1) Christopher Lee as the main villain
2) Comical levels of plot stupidity which adds to entertainment value
3) Comically awkward staging, especially with that opening bombing sequence, which adds to entertainment value
4) The plot feels random as though they made it up as they went along. This at least keeps it from feeling conventional and dull like the other two.
5) The scene where Anakin gets revenge on the Sand People is pretty cool, and even though it's offscreen it's fun that he killed their women and children.
But yeah, overall I'd give this movie a D-
I fully agree with this.
Attack of the clones was the last Star Wars movie I wanted to watch. After Revenge of the Sith (not my choice), I stopped watching all star wars.
