Jack Dawson created at least five historical inaccuracies in Titanic, making way for a theory about time travel. Here's what he got wrong.
It's not just Jack. There have been a TON of nitpicks Titanic historians have made about where and how things were done in the movie. While James Cameron obviously did do research on a lot of stuff regarding the ship, the culture of the 1910s, and on the technology used, he apparently didn't do much with the little details, thinking that most people watching his movie wouldn't bother to check up on historical accuracy.
However, I think it's a ridiculous stretch to say that Jack was a time-traveler. No time-traveler in his right mind would deliberately go somewhere just to die, particularly if he new the details on how it was going to happen.
Who gives a shit? Its a fucking fictional movie. What the hell is wrong with people nowadays?
